Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Delaware County

We were 6 adults and 4 young kids, and everyone had a fantastic time at Twin Peaks! The house is up in the mountains a bit, in a clearing surrounded by forest, overlooking the valley below, and both the house and property have a great feel. The views - especially from the great room - are reason enough stay here, but the house compliments the views nicely. Well laid out, nice flow, two working fireplaces, comfy rugs/carpets throughout, cool decor, comfortable beds, big finished basement for the kids. We hung out in every room, watched a few movies, cooked good meals, used the outdoor grill, hiked in the state recreation area behind the house, enjoyed watching the deer and turkeys, had fires in the outdoor fire pit, and had a great day of sledding right in front of the house. We also loved skiing at Plattekill Mountain, which is only 10 minutes away. I highly recommend Twin Peaks!

Emily and John were fantastic hosts. their home was perfect for the week while traveling back and forth to the baseball fields where our son was playing in the Cooperstown all star village tournament. it was so peaceful sitting on the porch with morning coffee and watching the lightning and rain storms pass through.

Had a wonderful stay at Cozy Cabin. Adrian was very helpful and communicative.

We enjoyed our stay but realized that the kitchen and living room space was a bit tight when it is snowy outside. There is a beautiful screened in back porch, grill, and fire pit that would be perfect in warmer weather. An old mile marker near the house gives it an air of mystery and the covered front porch with seating made getting boots on/off easier. The bedrooms were very nice and spacious. Parking and entering/exiting the driveway was easy. There is some road noise as it is near a main road, but for us this was a plus as it made it easy to reach our various hiking destinations. Michelle was very responsive and overall we had a wonderful stay to ring in 2025.

We had the most amazing stay here! It was 5 mins from Belleayre Mtn and perfect for our ski weekend. The home is beautiful and the photos truly don’t do it justice. Clean and fully stocked with all linens and everything you could need! Highly recommend!!!

My wife, two children and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was very spacious and a great location close the mountain that we were skiing at. The house was easy to get into and the beds were very comfortable. It was plenty warm on the cold winter nights. Overall it was a very nice stay and we would definitely stay there again!

My husband and I visited Patty & Leam's for 4 nights and had a truly wonderful time! The view is absolutely stunning, and thanks to the low light pollution, we enjoyed some incredible stargazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the jacuzzi was the perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking! We really appreciated all of Leam’s thoughtful recommendations—Kaaterskill Falls and horseback riding (e.g. shout out to Broken Spoke Stables!) were highlights of our trip. Breakfast was a delight—especially the amazing maple syrup and fresh farm eggs! We also loved our morning conversations, swapping stories and recipes. We felt genuinely at home and so well cared for throughout our stay. Can't wait to visit again! Thank you both so much! =)

Highlanders View is the full bed and breakfast experience! Leam was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The views are second to none, and the surrounding forest puts you right in the middle of the Catskills. The Tavern Room was perfect, with a clean, full bathroom, comfortable bed, living room area, and a large porch to take it all in. I would highly recommend and would love to come back!

My friend and I had a lovely stay at Highlander’s View and Leam was a charming host. The highlight of our stay was a late evening dip in the hot tub … the sky was big and full of stars, the air was crisp, and the hot tub was toasty—a perfect evening in a rolling rural location.

Brendan’s place was wonderful and he was an amazing host. He was helpful and proactive and provided excellent recommendations. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, but never felt intrusive. I can’t recommend staying here highly enough!
