Vacation rentals with lake access in Delaware Bay

We had a wonderful stay at Abubakar’s place. It was relaxing but had the right amount of opportunities for entertainment. The natural setting was beautiful - we walked to the beach and viewed migrating horseshoe crabs and the accompanying shorebirds. (The insects were in full force this time of year, so we did cover up well. )The screened in porch was a perfect place for enjoying the sights and sounds. We took advantage of the ping pong tables,bicycles and big screen tv. The local pickleball courts are within biking distance and we enjoyed a few games. Great host and property. We hope to return!

We visited Southern Maryland for a family wedding. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Beds are comfy, house comfy, and they thought of the little things like : a full sized ironing board & Iron, beach towels, good soaps, and all you need for s’mores!Their welcome handbook was very detailed. Our only regret was that we could not spend more time on the property itself (because of family events). Would have loved to use the kayaks and the fire pit. My brother did use hot tub. Great stay! Highly recommend

My mom, sisters, friends and I enjoyed a relaxing fun filled time at the Coastal Oasis at the Chesapeake for our Mother's Day Retreat. The view is amazing and truly can be seen from every room in the house! Being able to see the beauty and calmness of the water helped each of us kick back and let the stress melt away. The big dinning room table allowed all of us all to enjoy breakfasts, dinners and touching conversations together. My guests loved the décor and raved about every detail. The beds and furniture were comfortable and house clean. I would definitely come back!

Amazing lake views. The fish were biting. A beautiful peaceful getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Quite a memorable and special place. Book it- you won’t regret it. Sweetwater Marina also a nice spot to each. Bikes were fun to ride around and the porch deck made for a lovely spot for coffee and drinks. Plenty of parking and secluded at the end of road. Will rebooked already. 🎣 🏖️ 🛶

My family and I stayed here for a week for our family vacation. We are a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 kids) and there was plenty of room for all of us. We barely left the house because with the beautiful view, dock, beach area, canoe, kayaks, hot tub, game room/ library, corn hole, and fire pit we all had plenty to keep us entertained. Everyone loved Mary & Shelly’s place, and it provided the perfect space for us to enjoy the river and each other’s company!

This home is just as advertised...it is very large, great for several families vacationing together! Our group was small so we didn't even make use of all of the space. The house is right on Tanner Creek which is just beautiful for sitting on the dock and relaxing, paddleboarding and kayaking, birdwatching, etc. It's also about a mile from Lookout Point State Park which is absolutely gorgeous. Restaurants and grocery stores are few and far between in this area, so it's a good idea to bring your own food, and the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans for cooking. If you are looking for a place to relax in a calm and beautiful setting, this is it!

This place is an absolute gem!!! Super clean and well maintained home, beautiful yard & peaceful porch, great host and steps from the beach!! Our family of four had an amazing time and cannot wait to come back next yard. It’s the perfect spot and such an awesome value!

This is a lovely place to stay and so quiet and private! Skeitha is a great host. She adjusted the temperature for me and checked in everyday to make sure I had what I needed. The place is comfortable and had everything a guest could want and more! And when her listing says the place is clean, you can believe it, because it was spotless! From here, it's easy to get into the center of Philadelphia and also to do things further outside of Philadelphia, so it's a great location. And last, but certainly not least, it is a fantastic bargain. So stop swiping and book this airbnb now.

Cute and cozy! I felt right at home. Jordan and Danny are very nice folks, the apartment is very well appointed. There is a dock on the property that I should have spent more time on. The bed was a dream to sleep in and I literally overslept my alarm the first day. You will definitely need a car to get around but the apartment is a 3min drive to Safeway, Walgreens, Starbucks, etc. The neighborhood has a homey feel and the apartment has a homey feel which was my jam. My dog had a little accident but I got some carpet cleaner and let Jordan know and she was very understanding. I would definitely stay here again if I am visiting Kent Island.

We loved how quiet and comfortable it was to stay at Silk Purse Cottage . Jan anticipated our every need. The cottage is nestled in a woodsy location surrounded with flowering shrubs and ferns. The interior was quaintly furnished with a vintage decor but all modern amenities were provided in the bathroom and kitchen. We would definitely stay there again.

We spent the weekend at Bridgets cottage, and had a lovely time. Bridget was very welcoming, and we were very pleased with the coziness of the home. Everything is clearly labeled, the home instructions were very precise, and the property is absolutely lovely (I was a quite fond of the local birds!). The neighborhood is quiet and pretty, and there are plenty of local shops and eats nearby. If we're in the area again, we'd definitely love to stay again. Thank you!

Shawn's place is great! It is well-cared for and has everything you need to enjoy the indoors and the outdoors. The views of the water are beautiful and you can spend a lot of time watching the different birds. Getting there is easy and not far from restaurants and grocery stores. Had an amazing getaway weekend on Smith Island staying at Janet’s Cottage. Came by private boat from Pocomoke and stayed 2 nights. VERY easy boat access . Well protected and safe. Enjoyed the weekend walking around and exploring everything Smith Island has to offer. Highly recommend for a peaceful weekend getaway

Keith’s water view cottage is so beautiful and peaceful. My husband and I had a lovely long weekend stay with our little dog. Even with the storms that passed through the bay we felt extremely safe and cozy throughout our stay. Keith was very responsive and flexible with checkin /checkout. Would definitely stay again!!
