The house is about 40sq.m, with 1 bedroom with dooble bed, living room with two double sofabeds, 1 small kitchen, 1 bathroom and yard-balcony with beautiful sea view. I stayed here on a girls trip. It was plenty of space for the four of us and we felt right at home. The views are amazing and we had everything we needed inside of the villa. Effie was so responsive and helped with any questions we had about the villa and the area. I am very happy with my stay. I highly recommend. FYI It’s also very private so it’s not walkable.

We stayed two weeks at home and couldn't be happier. Cool even on heatwave days, fully equipped with what you may need (surely for young children), huge garden with shade, beach items, water hose. It is 10 steps from the sea of Nifida, quiet beach with sand. In the settlement there are taverns and houses but 15 minutes drive is Polychnitos, beautiful village that has everything. Many thanks to the host that he and the people who worked with him were so helpful and we will definitely prefer it again.

I missed meeting Paul as he only comes to water the plants, and to feed the chickens and donkey at first light or even earlier! However, his son, Giorgos, was amazingly helpful, responding immediately to anything I needed! He even brought me a smaller, softer pillow to suit my preferences, and generously gave me fresh eggs from their chickens, and helped me to look for my car key when I couldn't find it at checkout! He also gave helpful instructions how to operate the hob. ( The top right symbol is the lock, so don't press that one!) Just press bottom right then select which side you want to cook on and press the red flashing numbers to adjust the power and timer. The microwave is a combi, so also functions as a little oven. The elevated location and peacefulness of the house itself were perfect for my 2 day stay and it's only 15 minutes drive to a sandy beach just past the airport.

My partner and I had a wonderful time at The Old Nest House - despite the storm on the Island we had a lovely relaxing time, The Old Nest House is great in that you can enjoy your holiday no matter the weather, with plenty of cozy reading spots, a great kitchen, floor pace to play games etc etc! Christina looked after us during our stay, she greeted us at the enterance and gave us a comprahensive tour, and was availible throughout out trip for any questions we had. She was absolutely super and a real asset to this place! I would reccommend The Old Nest House to friends and can imagine having a magical time in the garden weather permitting! I would also highly reccommend the local resteraunts in the village - THE BEST food! You need a hire car to get around from Salakos as you're in the mountains but theyre affordable in Rhodes and worth it. 10/10

We had a 1 week stay and it was great Form the moment we arrived till the moment we left . We felt almost at home , the staff is very friendly and gave us plenty of recommendations where we can eat , beaches and much more . The inner garden is beautiful whit plenty of flowers and very clean. The back garden has a nice pool area and a shaded parking area . The accommodation is perfect for a small family or for couples.

Eva & her husband Harry are absolutely lovely people, my daughter and I instantly felt like part of the family. We had a wonderful welcoming. Eva is very knowledgeable about everything you need to know about in Crete. She will arrange everything you need to have an enjoyable holiday. Harry is very quiet but his lovely face tells you all you need to know. We absolutely loved him. We went on a boat trip with bbq, swimming in the sea and beautiful sunset. Cretan night in a village on the hill, that was wonderful, live band, dancing and eating. Visited a monastery then went for lunch. Hired a car and had a road trip to some lovely places. The strip is about a 20 minute walk downhill for restaurants. The night before we came home we had a lovely massage on the rooftop. And lots of quiet pool days which was essential for our holiday. We definitely would love to go back and stay with Eva & Harry.

The house is really nicely decorated, super tidy and well equipped. After we were able to check in early, we were greeted in the villa with wine, fruit, bread and spread. We stayed a week, and after half of the stay the villa was cleaned. The hostess was permanently available for us and passed on many recommendations for restaurants etc. We can recommend this villa 100%.
