White Oxen Manor is an ancient listed Devon Longhouse standing in its own grounds, with three delightful cottages converted from a 17th Century barn situated in the courtyard. The light and airy cottages retain many original features including owl slit windows and exposed beams and offer very comfortable and spacious accommodation personally maintained by the owners. They are set within a sheltered valley on the southern boundaries of Dartmoor National Park surrounded by fields and woodland.

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day. Or just relax in the peaceful surroundings of the barn and its garden. In summer months we generally do Friday to Friday bookings. Please message us if you would like to book alternative days.

There are lots of lovely walks on your doorstep and the National Cycle Network also passes through the hamlet. We are 1.5 miles from the village of South Brent which has all the amenities that you might need during your stay and plus some! "Swallows" is ideal for singles or couples seeking a holiday in South Devon as well as those looking for a longer holiday stay.

Ruby Retreat is a unique Shepherd's Hut hand built in larch, cedar and ash by local carpenter, Peter Milner. His skilled design and craftsmanship gives Ruby a very special feeling.
