Ruinerwold, 18th century farm

Our monumental farmhouse is located between Meppel and Ruinerwold. The original front house offers space for up to 10 adults or 6 adults and 7 children. Since construction in 1756, this front house has remained unchanged and the oldest beans date back to the 12th century. The farm, one of the most beautiful of Drenthe, has been a National Monument for more than 60 years and is not open to the public but is fortunately described in several books.
