On the edge of the center of Hoogeveen, you will stay in our spacious and bright studio in the garden house with an open kitchen, bathroom, comfortable sitting area, dining area and wonderfully large bed. Come and enjoy the beautiful Drenthe. Discover the Dwingelderveld, cycle through the Reestdal or visit one of the picturesque villages nearby. You can safely store your bicycles in our garage, and for short rides, we have loan bicycles for you. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. We are looking forward to your arrival!

Close to nice cities like Zwolle, Meppel and Ommen. National parks of Drenthe are a maximum of 30 minutes' drive away.

In the cottage, you live a basic life, close to nature in a beautiful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly planted food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

From your chalet at the "Keizerskroon" park, you can immediately go into nature for hiking, biking and mountain biking. There are no amenities in the park, but there are plenty of options nearby. Such as: Enjoy a cozy terrace in e.g. Borger, Rolde and Grolloo (bleus city), various open-air museums, Westerbork memorial center, or WILDLANDS in Emmen. Close to the Boomkroonpad, the beautiful swimming lake the Nije Hemelriek and climbing park "Joy Time". A little further away: Drouwenerzand amusement park.

Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment (45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Through the landing, you enter your own bathroom with sinks, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons, there is a second living/bedroom in the apartment available (25 m2 extra) Pets are allowed only after consultation.

Our guest house is located in a beautiful spot on the Hondsrug. Here you are surrounded by nature: ancient woods, sandy paths, rolling fields, squirrels, deer and a wide variety of birds. Within walking distance of the cozy Gieten with delicious fresh bread or a Gieterkoek at the bakery. Here you will find the supermarket and nice restaurants. By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and centuries-old dolmens.

In a quiet park, surrounded by forest, is this beautiful detached bungalow of 80m2 with fenced garden (covered terrace) of over 300m2. Come and relax in beautiful Drenthe by taking wonderful walks through the woods, swimming in natural lakes, making trips to villages, museums and (amusement) parks. Emmen is within driving distance with an extensive shopping center/dining options, Zoo and much more. Please note: bedding and towels are not included as standard.

This beautiful chalet, equipped with air conditioning, is located on a small campsite. Right in the beautiful village of Schoonoord. The place is nice and quiet and surrounded by the countryside. All the amenities of the village of Schoonoord are within walking distance. The beautiful Drenthe forests are also within walking and cycling distance. The chalet can comfortably accommodate 4 guests. It is a cozy place to enjoy the beautiful Drenthe together!

The apartment is located between monumental thatched farms in old Valthe, a small village on the Hondsrug, Around Valthe, there are forests, fields, heaths, country roads, fens, burial mounds and megalithic tombs. Many cycling and hiking routes run through Valthe that give access to a widespread network through Drenthe and surrounding provinces. 1 child up to 4 years old can stay in the parents' room. On request, a crib/child's bed can be placed.

In a unique location near the center of Emmen is apartment "De Uil". The luxury apartment is equipped with every comfort, it is spacious and bright. You have a private shed for your bikes. As of April 2024, we have a large balcony with a beautiful view over the pond. There is also a picnic bench on the ground floor. Do you have an electric car? No problem. It is a former Sunday school, located behind the church of a small village in Drenthe. It is furnished as a full guest house and for rent for at least a weekend, up to 3 weeks. It is furnished for two people. It is right on the edge of the forest, you can go straight from the cottage into a forest, with excellent hiking opportunities, both for the walk around the nearby lake+pond and for a sporty walk. The cottage is non-smoking.
