We had a pleasant, peaceful stay in Laurelle's cute cottage. Though compact, we didn't feel cramped and also enjoyed the provided breakfast in the courtyard. Handy location to the events we had on in Castlemaine and surrounds. Pleasant walk to the local pub for dinner in its lovely beer garden. Laurelle communicated with us well during our stay. So nice to meet you (and your granddaughter!)

Such warm, generous hosts. Maggie had baked us a beautiful loaf of gluten free bread and provided other goodies for our stay. The cottage is small but had everything we needed for a peaceful stay in the bush. It's only a 10 minute drive into Castlemaine and worth it for the peace & seclusion. If you like quaint cottages, gracious hosts and being close to nature, this is a great place to stay.

It felt like a true sanctuary, just 10 minutes out of Daylesford but worlds away in terms of serenity. Kate was an incredible host—warm, welcoming, and so accommodating. A must stay here and a must come back. Terrific location and an excellent property. The house and the 2 villas have everything you will need to make a fabulous stay. We , being 4 of us, ate , drank and slept our restful 4 days in the main house. Breakfast in the garden , lunch at the best Restaurants in town and sun downers on the front verandah. Dinner and a movie in the main dining/living room or dinner in the garden are obvious choices. Thank you so much for being excellent super hosts. We loved your property and the cleverness of the interior design and the rebuild of such a lovely old home. Also thank you for getting us into the Lakehouse Restaurent on NYE and the other fabulous restaurant suggestions. Our wives are coming back to go to the Eka Spa.

Our stay and studio 1 was amazing! Nicola was a great host, very responsive and friendly when we had requests but also respected our privacy. The studio is decorated Beautifully and we spent a long time admiring her furniture and how well it was put together. We stayed here over our wedding weekend so the photographer came to take some photos beforehand and she agreed they are going to be stunning, the old buildings and beautiful gardens are the perfect backdrop. Couldn’t recommend Nicola’s place more highly for wedding accomodation or just a relaxing weekend away in beautiful Castlemaine.

Tegan and Rhys are the most beautiful people and I’m in awe of what they’re doing for the animals. We absolutely loved getting to know the chooks, peacocks, sheep and lamas. Like the description says this is a working farm so expect the things associated with a farm. We had a 1yr old and were so grateful to use the toys but did find managing the space a little tricky with lots of drawers and cleaning products in reach of little hands. We would love to come back.

We had a wonderful Easter weekend at Veronica’s beautiful farm stay. The home is beautifully styled as a true Australian cottage with so much character, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches — from luxury linens to generous food and drink provisions, even tailored to my dietary requirements. Breakfast and yoga on the verandah with views of the Macedon Ranges, birds, and farm animals was a highlight. Veronica and her whole family were so warm, friendly, and helpful — and the gorgeous farm dogs made it even more special. This place has it all. Highly recommend!

We had such a lovely stay at Emily and Aaron's gorgeous home and farm. The home looked exactly like the photos and was the perfect spot to escape for a long weekend, relax and recharge. My children loved the trampoline, bikes, swing and feeding the goats (and of course the AppleTV and WIFI!). And my husband and I loved the food, wine and ability to just put our feet up and not worry about anything! We arrived to a delicious antipasto platter and bottles of their wonderful wine! We then enjoyed delicious wood fired pizzas, burgers, home-made banana bread, smoothies and more over the course of the weekend. Emily and Aaron - thank you for your fabulous hospitality! We look forward to returning again soon :)
