Cabin vacation rentals in Daylesford

Susan's place was exactly what we were looking for for a weekend getaway from Melbourne. It's close enough for an easy drive, lovely scenery, and a very comfortable place to stay. Lancefield was the closest town which had all of the the food and restaurant options we could use. The bed was fantastic, and there were extra blankets, towels, and enough cutlery and crockery for a couple of people on a weekend away. We had tea, coffee, and very kindly some fruit and biscuits for us on arrival which made it feel right at home. The property is listed as pet friendly, and it's so well organised for the pup that we had everything at hand that we needed including towels to keep her dry when it was raining outside. The hot tub was great, and although the weather wasn't fantastic, it was lovely to spend the evening in. I could go on, but if you're reading this, and need a short stay away in the country this is the place to be.

Elsie is a very pretty cottage, with a peaceful away-from-it-all feel. Immaculately clean…extremely comfortable. Sitting on the deck in the late afternoon sun, with a G&T in hand was a most pleasant way to finish a day of sight seeing. Also communication with Discover Daylesford was pleasant and easy, especially after I left something behind! Definitely recommend.

Super lovely cottages and a great surrounding environment!

Words truly aren’t enough to express how happy and welcomed we felt at your beautiful cottage. We had the most amazing time there, and Marina and Malcolm have honestly been the best hosts we’ve ever had through Airbnb. They were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and helpful from start to finish. The cottage was absolutely immaculate—spotless, cozy, and perfectly prepared for our stay. The location is stunning, surrounded by peaceful nature, with breathtaking views, birds, and even kangaroos! We especially loved spending time by the fire pit and relaxing with our dogs in such a serene and magical environment. To top it all off, Marina and Malcolm went above and beyond by baking us fresh bread and leaving us a variety of delicious treats to enjoy. It was such a warm and generous gesture that made us feel truly special. If we could rate this stay 100 stars, we absolutely would. Thank you again for an unforgettable weekend—we can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Mt Madison over the weekend! Sharnie was a great host—very prompt and easy to communicate with. The place was amazing: clean, beautifully set up, and incredibly comfortable. We had one of the best sleeps we’ve had in a long time. Even our chocolate poodle, Lily, felt right at home and slept soundly in her own little bed we brought along. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing and pet-friendly getaway

I stayed at Max’s Bee Hive air BnB again after staying last year. It was even better than I remembered. This place is so homely, we were warmed up by the cosy home as walled in with a toasty indoor fire going for us. The outdoors are so peaceful and it’s beautiful to see kangaroos at dusk and dawn on the property. Being able to bring the dogs is such a treat… they had the best time in nature, so much space for them to run around and swim in the lake. The covered patio outside is equal as homely as the inside. With a beautiful fireplace and leather couch to sink into while reading a book or having a wine and chat. The wood fire pizza oven is a nice touch, and I recommend bringing ingredients along to make your own! There’s so many wonderful, tiny details inside and on the property, you can tell this place was built with love and you can feel it the entire time you’re there. Thank you Max - this home is wonderful and I will be back again!

The perfect little hideaway tucked just outside the centre of Woodend, this little cottage was absolutely delightful. The wood fire made it super cosy inside on cold nights, the beds very comfy with beautiful linen sheets and the overall country ambience was just what we needed. The local roos paid a visit most mornings and the views over the dam with the ducks at sunrise and sunset was just beautiful. This place was our favourite accommodation of our whole trip.

Our stay at Norsu Cabin was like the warm hug you didn’t know you needed. From the moment we pulled up outside we all collectively sighed a sigh of relief - this cabin has that kind of effect on you. The interiors are GORGEOUS beyond measure. The kitchen has everything you need (and more). The generous gifts on arrival were unexpected, appreciated, and have been gratefully brought home to help us re-live what was a gorgeous long weekend. The kids cooked marshmallows over fire pits, climbed the cubby house & squealed with delight as they bounced on the trampoline. The bathrooms were pristine (and the water hot), the belly fire cosy and warm, the beds so very very comfortable, and the cosy rugs the perfect thing to take outside to read a book with a glass of wine as the sun went down. The bath outside was incredible - I’ll never forget the “star bath” moment I had with one of my young children - it was an extraordinary experience. Loved it all!

Beautiful and spacious house! Very clean with all the amenities. Easy to reach and get in. Only problem..didn’t manage to connect to WiFi. Would still recommend it!

Well positioned in Skipton, easy to walk around. Ideal place to stop and stay at when riding the Ballarat to Skipton rail trail. We had two cabins both great for our stay.

Carla was the best host I have ever had in any dealings with at Airbnb. Nothing was ever too hard of a question and was fantastic with places to visit and eat.

I had a wonderful week in the Cozy Cabin! It was so easy to get around and explore and was so quiet and peaceful. Very easy to find and very relaxing stay. Wonderful amenities - I highly recommend anyone to stay!

Really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was perfect - really cosy, comfy beds and sofa and the kitchen had all the appliances and equipment you need. The location is lovely with a wonderful aspect to wake up to each morning. Having the Domino Trail on your doorstep was an added bonus. We also really appreciated that our hosts went to the trouble of providing good quality fixtures and items in the cottage. It meant everything worked and it was a pleasure to stay there.
