My place is perfect for you if you like animals and prefer a quiet stay, away from the hustle & bustle of Alona. You stay on the 2nd floor of a building that is detached from the main house & offers a wonderful sea view. You can cook your own meals in the kitchen and enjoy the breeze on the rooftop terrace. Beaches, restaurants & the main island of Bohol are just a 10min scooter ride away while it takes you 15-20min to get to Napaling reef, Alona beach or the airport.

MJ Room Rental,

Experience the Philippine icon and represent the Filipino culture. The Bahay Kubo (MJ Room) is beside our house in Dauis, where we are living. It is not far from the sea (1.1 km) and only a few kilometers away from the next beach, the Bikini Beach. Best suitable for 1 or 2 backpackers, or for one family with 2 children. Problem! Just now our street is under construction.

For the price it was listed, you really get more than what you paid for! During our stay, there were circumstances that happened that were beyond both of our control, and the host was generous enough to compensate us even without us asking. The place was indeed perfect for our group!

We stayed there for 4 nights. Rooms are large, clean, and bright. Air conditioning is present and efficient. As for the bathroom, the only downside was the lack of hot water. The people present on site are welcoming and warm, always ready to help whenever we had a question or a doubt. The location is unfortunately quite far from the city center on foot, it is necessary to rent a scooter to get around but you can safely park it in the residence. This home is one of the best value we have so far in the Philippines.
