What an amazing property! Everything from spectacular views to comfy beds. The thoughtfulness of a thousand little touches throughout the property doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for the extra carrots for the mini horses. I don’t know if the adults or kids had more fun feeding them 😆 Kids and adults alike were entertained with bikes, swings, a trampoline, farm animals, fruit trees, marshmallows by the fire, shooting stars, pink sunrises and breakfast BBQs. A truely awesome place to stay!

If you're looking for a warm, cosy, well appointed cottage in Toowoomba, Mark's place is the place to book. We loved staying here. Mark was great to communicate with. The heater was on and ready us when we checked in, with lots of welcoming touches. We would definately love to stay again!

We stayed here for my mum’s 70th birthday celebration and absolutely loved it. The setting was just beautiful – the gazebo and lush garden made the perfect backdrop for our family gathering. The kids had a great time around the campfire, and the kitchen was very well equipped, which made preparing our meals a breeze. I especially appreciated the lovely selection of teas left in the kitchen – such a thoughtful touch. We all had such a fun and memorable night. Would definitely love to come back again in the future!

We all had an amazing time. The fireplace was so cosy and warm. We all slept very well and had a great stay at Anneke’s place in Stanthorpe. Would love to visit again.

Chelsea's place was beautiful, it's an amazing place to stay and had everything we needed for a few nights. It's very close to the main st in town and east walking distance to pubs, coffee shops, the wine bar and Coles. We asked Chelsea a couple of questions and she responded very quickly.

Such a lovely stay. We had some wonderful family memories that were made. My girls loved collecting eggs from the chickens and patting their lovely dogs every day! The weather was wet but it allowed some lovely rest and relaxation time with books and board games at the indoor fireplace. Very hospitable and helpful with ideas of places to see around the local area. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely come back for another stay.

We loved staying in the train carriage at Heaven in the Hills. If you are after a quiet location with a quirky and unique twist … this is the spot. Clean and tidy. Aidan was a great host. Full stove/oven to be able to cook with, albeit a very small kitchen area (which is also holds the single bed), but definitely doable for a few days. Although 10 minutes from the town centre it doesn’t feel that way due to the beautiful drive, so close enough to eat out at one of the local restaurants or pub. Gorgeous outside veranda/area with daybed. Quiet and very private, however the carriage is split into two units so there may be other guests staying next door. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely time staying here. Absolutely stunning apartment with a great cook's kitchen. Very homey feel with the fireplace & cosy leather couch. Also love that the bathroom was the old vault room, still with its original door. And the bath was very nice. Thank you for having us 🙏😊

We had a great stay. The house was very wheelchair accessible, which was a big plus for our friend who joined us. Everything was clean and comfortable. Pippa was a warm and welcoming host, and very easy to contact when needed. The surroundings were beautiful, and we really appreciated the peaceful setting. Highly recommended!

The pictures do not do this place justice! Such an incredible house, beautifully renovated and styled. We loved using the sauna, hot tub and pool. The doggos also loved the huge yard to run around in. We can’t wait to come back again!

This is a perfect place to slow down and relax. The cabin is very comfortable. Private area in the dead end which makes it relaxing. Beautiful nature all around with many kangaroos. We enjoyed every minute of our visit.

Absolutely amazing and secluded part of the world. We loved it, and would love to come back some time when it's warmer to make use of the swimming hole. The cottage was much bigger than it looks in the photos, and the property is stunning. Photos don't do the place justice.

The cabin was so peaceful, really comfortable and so well set up, we felt right at home and didn’t want to leave, even to go out for food! There’s plenty of bushwalking and national parks to visit close by, as well as food and restaurants a short drive away. The cabin is private, the fireplace is lovely and the only thing we wish we had done was plan our meals and cook there rather than going out for food because once we’d arrived we didn’t want to leave! Thank you for such a relaxing space for a weekend away, we have it on our to do list to return sometime in the future!

you simply cannot get more immersed in beautiful nature while still experiencing full comfort than this set up. large windows. cooking facilities. very responsive.. we had a great time and I highly recommend.

We will definitely be back! The Quarters at Firebreak is our new favourite place. This was the most relaxing, luxurious and tranquil retreat we have ever visited. Every creature comfort ( and then some!) was provided. The spectacular, ever changing vista, the complete serenity, the bird life, the sunset, the view from the decadent bathtub on the verandah, the privacy, the incredible, star filled night sky from down by the fire pit, whiskey by the fireplace on the comfy couch. The carefully curated interior design, right down to the signature scent, the matching bathrobes, flax linen sheets and comfiest bed ever! Everything was perfect and worth every cent. Magical funky handmade old cottage, full of history and charm, in a stunning location. At night, there is stillness and peace for kilometres. Loved the mist arriving across the paddocks in the morning. Beautiful views from every window. Dave and Glenda are super friendly, informative and helpful. Great welcome upon arrival. There is everything you need for a rustic yet comfortable, laid back, chill-out stay. Close to magnificent national parks for day trips.

The retreat is so gorgeous! Definitely worth the stay! We only had one night but will be rebooking for more nights in the future!
