One of the best home stays in north bengal. Hosts were really welcoming, warm and helpful. The location was really peaceful and easy to spot. Rooms were really clean with all things available. The food they made was really good. overall it was a really nice stay

Our first AirBNB booking at The English Cottage was truly beautiful! The heritage cottage vibes and ethereal mountain views won our hearts immediately. The Deck has gorgeous views! Despite always staying in hotels for all our trips, this homely atmosphere, immaculate room and all the available amenities made us very comfortable. Sharon and Sanjeev are truly Superhosts! Sharon goes above and beyond, customizing breakfast for each guest and ensuring everyone feels at home. Every morning felt like a family meal with Sharon, Sanjeev, and other guests, sharing stories and enjoying a hearty breakfast. They gave excellent recommendations for things to do, places to visit and restaurants to try. They even loaned us ponchos and umbrellas for a rainy day forest trek because the ones we already had were small. We're looking forward to our next stay here; it truly feels like a home away from home, and that's simply priceless! - Anwesha & Pratik

1. Location - Away from the hustle bustle of Darjeeling, this is a quiet neighbourhood with lovely climate. 2. Locality - quaint village with a few houses nearby. You can go for long walks. 3. Room - Well maintained and with windows overlooking the valley. 4. The Host - Lopchan family and especially Ningma go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and with like minded guests, you may feel part of the family very soon. They work really hard to maintain the place and they also cook delicious honely meals in their large family kitchen. Overall, a great place to visit if you are not looking to stay within Darjeeling town itself.

I had a wonderful time at the Meghmala home stay in Rimbick. The host (Uncle & Aunty) was very friendly and helpful, and the room was cozy and clean. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, and I enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountains every morning and the night view of mountain was so mesmerizing. The home stay was also close to many attractions, such as the Manendra Samten Monastery, 105years old, the Srikhola Bridge, and the Lodhama Hydro Power plant. Network connectivity is also good, I will suggest to use Jio network, as it has best connectivity in this entire region. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the beauty and peace of Rimbick, Darjeeling.

Firstly I want to convey the new traveller..that don't misjudge this stay because it's little bit in outskirts. The communication from this place to mall and chowrasta is very convenient and all time available. The place is just 8 km ayay from Mall and perhead 30 rs zeep is available to go to city. If you want to stay in peace and away from hustle bustle this will be your best opt with pocketfriendly budget. They also serve very tasty homely food. The hosts are very cooperative and helping and they will make you feel at home. Also ask for the guided walking tour for the village down from Raksha the most energetic guide. I will definitely opt this place in my next trip also.

From the second we entered his home, Krishna made us feel so welcome and at home. He answered all the questions we had and gave us a hand drawn map of Darjeeling that was incredibly helpful in navigating and deciding what to do next. His wife’s cooking was also incredible. As it’s winter and not many homes have heating, the space was a bit cold but the heated beds provided for a warm and cozy sleep. Would recommend!

Tucked away in the hills, Relaimi Homestay was a peaceful retreat for my wife and me. From the moment we arrived, Sujata and Nischal welcomed us with warmth and generosity, making us feel instantly at home. The homestay itself was cozy and charming, with large windows opening to misty mountains. A highlight of our stay was Sujata’s incredible home-cooked meals. Her chicken momos, served with tangy chutney, were unforgettable. The Nepali thali—dal, bhaat, vegetables, and achaar—was wholesome and comforting. If you love mountain air, meaningful conversations, and soulful home-cooked meals, Relaimi Homestay is the perfect escape, it offers more than just a stay—it’s an experience that stays with you. Infact we booked the stay only for 3 days and then extended to another 2 days and we can’t wait to return here again.

We recently had the privilege of staying at Green Hamlet, a mountain villa, nestled amidst the stunning peaks, Green Hamlet is exactly like shown in the photos. It is really beautiful with spacious rooms and washrooms, perfect for a family get together. The villa itself was beautifully designed with a blend of modern comforts and traditional architecture. The interiors were spacious, with large windows allowing us to fully appreciate the surrounding landscape. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the staff ensured that all our needs were met promptly. The highlight of our stay was the tranquility that enveloped the villa, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Hospitality was top notch and the staffs were attentive. Even the food made was tasty. Prabha went above and beyond to assist with always helpful and enthusiastic, created a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like family. Great stay at Gangtok. Beautiful place, spacious for groups of 8-10, everyone enjoyed the stay. Plus our caretaker was amazing, absolutely delicious food and felt right at home. Highly recommend!
