Cabin vacation rentals in Danville

We recently stayed at Carter’s Hideaway near Fairy Stone State Park, and it was an excellent spot for a peaceful getaway. It was just the two of us, so we only used the main cabin, which was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is private and quiet, making it a great place to unwind. While the pool wasn’t open for the season, we still enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and easy access to Fairy Stone State Park and Philpott Lake. We’re already planning to come back this summer with the kids! Both cabins will give us plenty of space, and we look forward to fully utilizing the pool. This is an excellent rental for families or groups looking to enjoy nature with the comforts of home.

This is a great spot for a romantic getaway or as a more relaxing alternative to a hotel when staying near family. It was cute, quiet, clean, and private. The hosts were extremely attentive and helpful.

This is a great place to just decompress...beautiful setup, would be perfect if you could have another couple stay as well but great place ..Def coming back

I was fortunate enough to be able to book Amy’s place for Christmas and it was perfect. Large enough to have the family together with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. There isn’t one thing I would change about our stay. The house was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays. I was lucky to briefly meet Amy and had a great chat she is very friendly. We will certainly book this house again. Thanks Amy

This place is more beautiful than the pictures. Although there are other cabins around it is still very private, the windows are all facing towards the woods so you can enjoy the view from inside and also there’s a nice little place in the back to just sit and enjoy nature. It was very clean, and smelled amazing. Andy was very responsive. We had a great stay.

This place is a gem! Quiet peaceful surroundings! Walkable to cider tasting room. Close to Hillsborough. Screened in porch was a joy at night! Wish we could have stayed longer!

This was our second stay at the cabin and we loved it as much this year as last year. It is such a private retreat - one we appreciate. The place is so relaxing, inside and outside. We love the screened porch the best!!!! Kathy is great and so easy to work with. We look forward to our NEXT trip to Mayo Lake!

We would definitely recommend a stay in the Coorie Nook cabin! It’s a quaint little cabin but there was plenty of room for the two of us and our dog. The cabin has all the modern amenities and is stocked with everything you’ll need. We enjoyed grilling out and using the deck to visit with family. It’s only about 20-25 mins to the Lawndale area of Greensboro and lots of restaurants and shopping. We hope to stay again when visiting family.

Great house! Wonderful host to work with, very friendly and helpful. Plenty of space for our big group, nice beds and bathrooms, open onsite parking, such a neat backyard, great location, highly recommend!

Really nice stay. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and open space. Very convenient to where we needed to be while staying. Home does need a few lamps and maybe just a little more family seating, but this is just me thinking outside the box. Kitchen and bath were "top shelf" with everything one could need. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. Look forward to coming back again.

Stone's Paradise was the perfect weekend getaway! Wendall was a great host and quick to respond. The house was stocked with some essentials, snacks and even fishing worms. My husband started his Saturday morning with complimentary coffee and fishing as there's poles available on site (you'll need your own tackle box). There was also some firewood available at no charge. There are other homes nearby but it was still peaceful and well worth what we paid. We look forward to staying again :)

Roy’s place was great. My grandchildren didn’t want to leave. they had so much fun. I set up was nice and all the activities was the best. I know where I will be staying when I come back to NC!!!

The pictures do not do this place justice. I’ve never seen a layout like this before, and it was just very neat; almost like the house in multi sectional and just very cool. The rooms feel like you’re walking into an historic wooden room with a private wooden hallway that feels completely separated and private from the rest of the home. The waterfall is amazing to see, and they did any excellent job setting up areas to sit, talk, and enjoy. The owners made everything very easy, and had the house, sheets, towels, etc ready. Very clean, and comfortable. I would and will stay here again.
