Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Dalhousie

We had a great stay at Sanjiv's property during the India v England Test match. It was in an ideal location, 30 minutes walk from the stadium and with a open rooftop giving stunning views of the mountains and over Dharamshala - definitely pop up there around sunset! Sanjiv was a most friendly and responsive host (who speaks good English) and helped organise travel for me to go trekking at short notice when the cricket finished early. One minor point to be aware of - the GPS location pin on AirBnb wasn't accurate so I took a while to find the house. It's up a lane that leaves the main road to the right of Hotel Sajan / opposite 7 To 9 Needs.

This place was wonderful. It was my first stop in India so the perfect place to settle in. It’s a short walk from McLeod Ganj and is surrounded by great amenities including a couple of great restaurants, a shop and a gym. The area is a great mix of Tibetan/Buddhist and Indian cultures. It’s wonderful! The view from the balcony is spectacular and the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. I was remote working so the work desk was ideal but trying to work without getting mesmerised by the view was hard 😂 The team couldn’t have done more for me including getting an Indian SIM card. Thanks guys. I’ll be returning and I can’t wait.

Once you reach, the home is quite good. Rahul is very friendly and helped us get cabs to the location even at night and rush hour. This is good for a group of friends. The home had all the amenities asked for, great view of the Dhauladhar range, HPCA stadium from the terrace.There is a dog at his house who is also very friendly. The kitchen, bathroom and linen were neat. Only issue is reaching this place. The location is a bit tricky and there is steep decline to reach the place. not all cabs can get here. Only Alto can reach (Rahul helped us in getting the right drivers). and if you are getting out from here, then the steep incline to the main road will test the driving skills of your cab driver .

Nandini is the best host you could ever ask for and her homestay is even better than it looks in the pictures. The whole property is filled with greenery and has the most beautiful outdoor sitting space. The cooks are amazing. Try their biryani for sure. It’s right next to a river so you can always hear the sweet sound of water. If you’re looking for something beyond a hotel stay, look no further!!

What an amazing place with the amazing host! The location is perfect, far from bustling roads. You can easily access to restaurants, cafes or grocery shops while you can enjoy a walk surrunding nature. This place has a working place with strong wifi. So it is suitable for those who are working from home. Also there is a nice cozy cafe so you can take a break having a nice coffe. Everything is perfect, but the highlight of this place is the staff, especially the host, Raghav. He is very helpful, friendly and has a beautiful soul. He helped me many things such as arranging a transportation. I enjoyed the conversions with him while having a coffee. Thanks to him and the welcoming atmosphere of this place, I could also spend nice time with the other guests. If you are a remote worker and looking for cozy and quite but charming place to stay with beautiful people, this is the place. Highly recommend!

This was undoubtedly one of my best stay in a long long time.. Want to summarise the experience 1. A down to earth, responsive, ever eager to help host Surinder ji.. Takes away all your negative apprenesions out of context, once you communicate with Surinder ji 2. Property as it is as shown in the photos.. Such a heavenly view of Kailash, and the Dhauladhar range from the rooms, all rooms have mountain view as claimed in property description. 3. Peaceful and blissful stay, if you love nature Surely recommended for vacations/staycations...

Void is more than just a stay! Its home. Raghav, Shrikant, Kartik and everyone else are more than hosts. They are like family to us now. And the workspace part, what can I even say, I have spent 14 hour working days, and for not a single moment I felt like I was not in office. If you're looking for a place to stay and work or just even chill and spend time with the amazing community here, look no further.

An absolute gem in Bhagsu , Dharamshala! This Airbnb is the perfect blend of comfort, creativity, and productivity. If you're someone who enjoys working remotely, you'll love the dedicated workstations set in a peaceful environment. But it’s not just about work – there are indoor games, art supplies for sketching and drawing, and even a guitar for the music lovers. Basically, it caters to every kind of interest, boredom is not an option here! The vibe of the place is something else – it truly hits different. Rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is extremely courteous, and room service is on point. But the highlight? The food! Honestly, the chef deserves a medal – everything we ordered was delicious and served quickly. I half-joked that we should be taking cooking lessons from them!😋 Special shoutout to Mr. Kartik for being an amazing host and guide throughout our stay. He was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a fantastic experience.😊

Great stay, everyone around is so friendly. Special shoutout to Karthik, he did a lot to accommodate us 😌. There are great cafes around the place, like Sunny’s and Beetroot cafe. Lots of fun games in the Void! Bhagsunag waterfall is 15 mins of walk from here, just ask Karthik to show you the secret shortcut. Overall a great place to stay and highly recommend!
