Vacation rentals with lake access in Dakota County

The property met our needs perfectly. The house was clean and easily accessible when we arrived. Fern and Daniel were extremely helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommended this property and would stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at Alvin’s Airbnb. It was our first time in Minnesota and staying at his property made it all the more special. The house accommodated everyone beautifully with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The kids had a blast playing in the backyard! I must add the view of the water from the yard was spectacular. The added family fun of all the board games in the house was a huge added bonus!! We had zero issue at all with our stay. If we are ever in the area again, I know we would gladly stay at this property again! Alvin is a very awesome host to work with!

Wonderful spot to step into a well-thought-out comfortable and cozy bungalow space with vibes of an old-fashioned lake cottage. Beds are very comfortable and we loved the cute room divider between the beds to offer a little privacy within the shared room. Lots of games, movies, blankets, pillows, kitchen supplies and thoughtful snacks! Quiet residential area on a small lake. Nice view out the windows! Would stay again!

Super clean, BEAUTIFUL place. We had a total of 8 people stay here, one being a toddler, and two dogs. This place was PERFECT for a family weekend. I would absolutely recommend this spot for anyone.

Beautiful home. Every single thing you could think of was provided, from makeup remover wipes to rubbing alcohol to the fixings for a spaghetti dinner. We loved walking to Broder’s for lunch and to Lake Harriet.

Would definitely book again. Very accessible location, close to everything that you might need. Private driveway is very helpful. Host provided many descriptive recommendations for restaurants and things to do if our plans were cancelled due to weather. Ideal central location for our many planned activities all over the Minneapolis area and at no time did we see anything in the neighborhood that would make us feel unsafe.

Private modern space. Loved the proximity to the lakes and Busters restaurant. Comfortable furniture and the kitchen was stocked well for short term visits. The place’s entrance is off the alley and you must park on the street (listing states free parking on premises, but no). The bed is comfortable with a memory foam topper and the bathroom is a good size and very clean. We crossed paths with Scott a few times and he wanted to make sure we were comfortable and everything was going well. We definitely recommend this place and will return to it ourselves.

My stay at this Lake Harriet home was awesome. The space is big, has really great decorations and has a cool style while maintaining comfort. My favorite parts are the original wood details inside the house And the bedrooms with nice designs and super comfortable beds. I woke up early to explore the area and felt quite safe taking a short walk to lake Harriet and utilizing the easy walking paths around this quiet neighborhood. I was able to spot a couple nice coffee shops and grab some delicious breakfast at a nearby bakery. I also saw a few parks that I definitely will come back to explore on another trip. Oh and the host, Ben, was super responsive, thoughtful, and proactive to give me all the good tips and secret spots of the locals. He was quick to respond to my questions about the house and the neighborhood. The house was spotless, peaceful, and had a lot of amenities that were above and beyond the average rental. I will definitely be returning and bringing friends!

Everything was perfect - the space, the neighborhood, the amenities, the communication. Legitimately looking forward to staying again!
