Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Dakar-Plateau

I was very satisfied with my stay at this beautiful apartment which matches the Airbnb photos and descriptions. In addition, Hanne is a very available and active host who really cares about the smooth running of her guests' stay. In short, this will be my privileged apartment on my next trips to Dakar.

For someone who places great importance on the energy of spaces, I can say that René's studio immediately gave me a feeling of "home" in my first phase of settling in Dakar. The space is well decorated and beautiful in its simplicity. The kitchen is shared with Rene and his family, but I didn't feel uncomfortable because they made me feel at ease right away. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a connection with a host and to be located in a lively little neighborhood.

Modern and well equipped house in the heart of the city, calm and peaceful; Tim is an amazing host who goes out of his way to make the host feel at home and is always available to respond to any question.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Indigo House. The property was clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood felt safe and house was convenient to a main road, but was far enough away to be quiet.

This place is exceptional- huge and beautiful home, pristine, gorgeous inside and out. The pool and terraces are really special, the sea view is beautiful. The hosts were so friendly, efficient and helpful, the guards always there and really helpful. The housekeepers did an excellent job and were really amiable. This is a great location to explore Dakar and its surroundings - out of the city centre but easy enough to get in, and the motorway is a 5 minute drive. Somone lagoon is a must-see. Thank you so much for a wonderful base for our holiday.

Cheikh's home is a lovely space in the middle of a nice neighbourhood. All amenities work perfectly and the house is well set-up to have friends over. Cheikh and his brother were very good hosts - always responsive and helpful. It is a wonderful place to feel a part of a community in Dakar. All of the neighbours are friendly and helpful. In contrast to other parts of Dakar, it is a quiet spot where bird song and animal noises are the main soundtrack. I recommend staying here for a friendly and integrated experience in Dakar.

As usual, it was a great stay. Wladщ is perfect, always available and very very responsive. Firmine is a remarkable host in every way. I highly recommend this place for its proximity to almost all areas of Dakar ( halfway between the plateau and the Almadies, close to the sea plaza on foot with shops nearby). Would definitely be back again.

Biba was accommodating and hospitable. She was flexible with the house cleaning schedule and the front door security was friendly and helpful. Best place to stay in Dakar.

Super nice, quiet and very clean apartment, in a neighborhood that I really like in Dakar. Everything is well thought out, you really feel at home. Close to the corniche and its cool restaurants. We had an amazing time at René’s flat! It was very secure, in a great location and so spacious! The flat itself was beautifully decorated with lots of amenities and we felt right at home. René was really helpful and responsive no matter how late we messaged and the caretaker was very friendly and attentive! The location was great and it was very easy to get around to places in Dakar. I would definitely recommend this place and when I return to Senegal, I will be back at this flat! Thanks again for welcoming us into your home and for the amazing communication! Especially as three woman travelling together, we couldn’t have picked a better flat! Also the WiFi was amazing and I was able to work from the flat and submit my assignments with no issues! Great host with a nice apartment. The area is pretty loud and lively which didnt bother us personally but might be a point to consider for people who put emphasis on quietness.

Beautiful apartment which looked exactly as the photos presented and it has a calm & positive feel as you walk in. Surrounded by a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Yasmina was always responsive and available whenever needed. Her caretakes were so helpful, friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this apartment!

Zeinab is a great host. She has a very nice residence with a terrace. My clothes were even washed and folded at no extra cost and she was attentive to all my messages and ready to help. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Dakar. I'll be there for my next stay for sure. Thanks

Had a great time at this Airbnb apartment. The host was very responsive and professional, providing clear instructions before and during my stay, which made my arrival and settling in very easy. The accommodation is in a great location, close to restaurants, a hypermarket, and several banks, which was very convenient. The neighborhood is quiet and the building is well secured, which gave me a sense of tranquility throughout my stay. The only small inconvenience was the lack of mosquito netting for the bedroom window, but it didn't really affect my comfort, it's just a minor detail. In summary, I am very satisfied with this experience and highly recommend this listing!

Had a nice stay at Atsede Maryam's place. Yoff is a nice neighborhood and the beach is around the corner from the apartment. The apartment itself was very spacious, and there was plenty of kitchen equipment for if you wanted to make something yourself.

Such a great stay for my birthday! Was able to meet up with my friend and go shopping. The location was nice because it was close to the Sea Plaza mall and getting to the beach was easy.
