Welcome to our beautiful Blankenheim, which is 900 years old. Enjoy the natural beauty in a modern and cozy getaway around this historic place. The apartment is only about 300 meters from the famous hiking trail 'Eifelsteig.' Shopping such as Aldi, Lidl, Rewe are only about 2.5 km away. Furthermore, the accommodation is quietly located on the edge of the forest with meadows right behind the house. The historic town center is within 10 minutes' walking distance.

Our beautiful apartment (70 square meters) is quietly and idyllically located near the forest. To enjoy the picturesque Volcanic Eifel, hiking on the Eifelsteig (stages 7-8), the Krimi hiking trail, the rock and Celtic path and in the Lampertstal. The bike path network is right next to our house. You can rent bikes from us for a small fee. An 18-hole golf course is 3 km away. For swimming, there are: Freilinger & Kronenburger See, Freibad Gerolstein or the Maare.

Surrounded by many hiking trails and beautiful nature, it offers the ideal starting point discovering the beauty of the Eifel with its numerous sights.

Unser ehemaliger Bauernhof mit Traumblick liegt am Rande ein idyllisches Eifel-Dörfchen. Die zwei freistehende Holz-Ferienhäuser bieten Platz für insgesamt 18 Personen. Unsere sanierte Ferienwohnung "Hekla" bietet Platz für 2-3 Personen. Wohnung Hekla ist Teil vom Bauernhof-Haupthaus. Der Heidberghof liegt direkt am Waldrand. Es gibt kein Durchgangs-Verkehr. Auf dem Hof leben neben wir, eine holländische Familie, auch Islandpferde, Hunde, Katzen und Hühner.

Hikes, bike rides and Tennis courts on surrounding courts and halls. The nearest golf course is about 12 km away. Two reservoirs nearby invite you to swim and fish in summer. In our house (10 km from the city centre) you will find a separate one-room-apartment with own kitchenette and bathroom. It's easy to get to the city by car (15-20 minutes), turning to the other direction it’s a short way to Eifel, Hohes Venn and Monschau. Check-in from 3.00 p.m. Check-out by 12.00 noon (Early Check-in and late check-out may be possible by appointment, depending on connecting bookings.)
