Neil's place is magical and a perfectplace to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary with our family. The whole home is so well kept, from the beautiful gardens to the treasures and novalties throughout the house. It was homely and artistic at the same time, which was amazing. They obviously take great pride in hosting and everything was thought of from plenty of the basics to the little things like umbrellas, fluffy cushions, books, cds, bath robes, all the way down to a hand juicer for our lemons. The kids loved the kayaks and we loved the peace and quiet. You couldn't ask for more and we will definitely book again. Thank you so much!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house on the water was even better than we expected - honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. The views were stunning, especially the sunsets, which were truly out of this world. The home was spotless, beautifully set up and had everything we needed. It was especially great for families with young kids - lots of thoughtful amenities that made our stay so much easier. Highly recommend!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stuart's Eclectic home. When we arrived we were greeted by a kangaroo in the back yard and had multiple bouncy visitors throughout our stay, as well as some beautiful kookaburras and curlews. It's so close to all the beaches and shops and walking trails, we walked or rode our bikes predominantly. Had a heatwave while we were there so the house was warm in the upstairs living areas in the afternoon as others have mentioned. A great comfortable beach shack and a lovely way to experience the beauty of what Stradbroke Island has on offer.

Fantastic location with sandy beach right in front, very friendly hosts and clean place. Boat ramp next door and public swimming area provides entertainment and other people/kids for our kids to interact with. We anchored our boat right out the front and could easily keep an eye on it which was a big plus for us, not that there was any issue in the calm waters during our stay. Friendly neighbours also deserve a mention making you feel at home. Would love to stay here again in the future and may make it a regular holiday destination. Thank you Sue and Peter.

This house is terrific for a large group and the pool was a delight when we have three littlies under two and two toddlers - it saved going to the beach more than once each day. So we all swam and were able to rest each afternoon! The size of the house allows for separation and space for each group/family/couple. Kitchen was very well equipped and the bathrooms were lovely and functional. The only (and I mean only) annoyance was the gas bottle for the BBQ was empty and we didn't realise until 6 pm - right after the general store that fills them up was closed. All was well the next day however. Will definitely visit for our annual family week together, and next year those littlies will be running around the wonderful (and fenced) yard!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Brisbane, you would struggle to find a something better than Russell’s place. It was clean, comfortable and had everything you would need for a short or long stay. The pool was also a nice bonus. Russell and Lisa were great hosts, very responsive and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at Lisa’s place! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was convenient, and the space had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Communication with Lisa was smooth and responsive, and she was always willing to help when needed. Overall, a great experience—I’d definitely recommend this place to others and would happily stay again in the future!

This was our first visit to Straddie and it was a cracker! Just loved the island and definitely planning to return. The holiday was family based we loved the sectionalised bedrooms with one family downstairs near the pool, the second larger family taking the two bedrooms near the living quarters and my husband & I top floor with a birds eye view from our balcony and the ensuite has a great outdoors feel the louver windows open up to a nature reserve at the back of the house, so it was ffantastic to watch the kangaroos & birds while sitting on the loo. All the bedrooms had access to private breakout balconies allowing everyone to be able to chillout at will. Very much needed on holiday. There was enough room for the boat and cars. We could have done with better lounge seating (there simply wasn't enough for eight adults to sit comfortably and watch telly- first world problem) It didn't overly bother anyone but it was noticed.

Tracey’s place is amazing, very good location, beautiful house , we could walk everywhere , lots of restaurants and shops around, and Tracey was amazing host with good communication and suggestions, will definitely come back :)

Place was beautiful. Great place for catch-up with family.

Lovely peaceful spot right on the water. We loved being able to tie our boat up to the pontoon and go sailing whenever the wind picked up. Bedrooms were comfortable and the square dining table a great fit for the 8 of us. Lots of fun board games to play and puzzles to do too. All round a great place for a family holiday!

We absolutely loved our stay! The pictures don’t do the place justice. It’s spacious, serene, perfect location. Highly recommend it for families! Patrick was extremely helpful and always responsive.

Jessica welcomed my children and I when we had to find emergency accommodation after the Christmas night tornado on the Gold Coast and lost half our home. We immediately felt so welcomed and so at home. From the beautiful care hamper Jessica left for us, to the messages from Jessica of support and well wishes. Her home is perfectly positioned in lovely Margate. It is extremely clean, has everything you need, and even welcomed our fur baby. Jessica is so lovely and warm and ensured we felt at home. The kids loved the cubby house and even our doggo went down the slide a couple of times. We spent nearly three weeks at Jessica’s home and never felt like we were over staying our welcome. Thank you for everything Jessica. You are amazing and your home is very special.

An absolute gem! It was spotlessly clean, and stocked with thoughtful touches to feel right at home. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. The location was fantastic, close to everything yet peaceful. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!
