We really loved our stay at Peggy‘s House that lasted 7 nights and we would definitely recommend it. We were 5 people and the inside was spacious and clean. Also, the view was great, you could see the Davis Beach from the terrace and from most windows. The beach in front of the house is beautiful and there are also a few public beaches with sunbeds and parasols not far away. The location of the house was one of our favorite aspects because you could reach everything either by foot or by public transport. We even visited Athens a few times. Takis was a great host, very friendly and reliable, the communication worked perfectly. He even offered to book taxis from/to the airport and as we got to the house, the fridge was filled with a few necessities like water, beer, ham and cheese.

This place is heaven ! Everything is so beautiful and peaceful. A quiet place to rest, enjoy an amazing view and beautiful sunset from the terrace. If you find availibity don’t hesitate and book it ! Thé hostie are so kind and help you with everything to make your stay wonderful

Great accommodation. Location is perfect with beautiful view but you have to be with car or motorbike. The apartment has everything you need, big living room with kitchen, bedroom and very comfortable bathroom. Georgios is super friendly and respond every time. Highly recommend this accommodation 😊

Francisco is super welcoming and kind; he will only speak greek but he is very good in making you understand. His wife speaks english also, so she can help. The location is wonderful, terrace, big bedroom and a small kitchen with all the necessary. The terrace is the best part of the house, from where you can enjoy a very relaxing view of the small town of Megalo Livadi and his little bay. Despite is a gulf, the water is clean so you can enjoy the sea there, but in 20/30 minutes of car you can reach Sykamia or other wonderful beaches in the north, or even Chora, or the port. The island is so small that distance is not really a concern, if you have a car. I will come back for sure!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Parikia. Relaxing & wonderfull views & sunsets. House had everything we needed. Would reccomend. As described on line.

Eine Wohnung mit fantastischer Lage und wunderschönem Blick. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und können den Aufenthalt nur weiterempfehlen.

Le logement était propre. Il y’a avait des fruits et des œufs frais dans le frigo à notre arrivée ce qui était vraiment sympa L’endroit est magnifique. La plage est superbe et n’est jamais trop envahie. Par contre personnellement je ne me serais pas vue rester sans voiture. Le bungalow est au bout d’une piste( avec d’autres appartements ce n’est pas isolé). C’est facile à emprunter mais il n’y a pas de supermarché qui soit assez près pour y aller à pied. A moins de vouloir rester à la plage tous les Jours et de manger à la taverna le soir! Nous avons préféré faire des excursions et nous déplacer. Le logement est simple mais propre. Ειρήνη et sa fille sont très sympa et m’ont donné toutes les indications pour que j’arrive à bon port En tout cas, c’était une semaine parfaite pour nous !

It was perfect. The view is just surreal, so beautiful. 4 minutes by car you can take long walks up in the ancient olive grove. You do need a car but things are very easy and quick to reach; the ports, supermarkets, bakeries etc. the fireplace was the cherry on top. Maria is extremely nice, welcomed my dogs and was 110% helpful when needed!!! So grateful I could stay <3

Brenda was very accommodating and a lovely woman, I arrived very late which was no issue and she popped by in the morning to make sure I had arrived safely as I was travelling alone. The bungalow is gorgeous and exactly the kind of oasis they describe. The beach nearby (on the left of Notos playground) was perfect with lovely water, and not busy at all. The bungalow was a 5 minute walk from the beach as well as all the coffee shops restaurants supermarkets etc as stated in the description. I will 100% be coming back in the future and would highly recommend.

Die Unterkunft ist klein aber gemütlich und sehr schön und modern eingerichtet mit einer schönen Terrasse und weitere Draußenbereiche zum nutzen, sowie auch ein Grill. Das wlan war gut, vorallem auf der Terrasse und es sind 3 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand, den wir so gut wie allein für uns hatten mit super klarem Wasser. Die Küche ist sehr spärlich eingerichtet und zum groß Aufkochen nicht sehr geeignet. Für uns hat es gereicht. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Wir sind mit dem Taxi für 35€ vom Hafen gefahren und waren vor Ort zu Fuß unterwegs, das geht für 3 Tage gut, es gibt ein Supermarkt 1 Stunde fußläufig entfernt und 20 Minuten am Strand ein Restaurant. In der hochsaison hat glaube ich mehr offen. Unser Aufenthalt war super schön und sehr entspannt! Gerne wieder.

I don’t remember anyone talking about the sea view in description or reviews. I was surprised when I stepped up on the porch and looked out and saw the sea and port with our cruise ship we were scheduled to take next all right there about a mile (give or take) away in clear view :D when the cab driver dropped us off he said “wow, this is where you are staying? This is nice.” The property the house sits on is even more lovely than I expected as well - the olive trees everyone mentions that greet you when you look out the window, the charming shutter style windows that were easy to open/close, and the package of toast with spreads that were left for us made for a nice compliment to our left over lamb sausage from dinner which we easily walked to down the hill in the charming city center. Things I was underwhelmed by were the mattresses - my husband and I actually slept in the room with the twin beds because they seemed more conducive for what my back needed- and the shower was tiny

We stayed at Antonio’s’ for 8 nights; I think it wasn’t until we left that we fully appreciated what a privilege it had been to stay there. Luxury accommodation it is not, but instead there is peace and privacy with a beautiful outlook & the sound of the sea. We only left the accommodation a few times, once to get shopping from the town (it’s a bus ride away), & a few times to walk to a sandy beach 10 minutes down the road. The rest of our stay we were content to use the pebbly cove by the house & to sit in the garden and read, accompanied by four entertaining young cats. There is a taverna across the road which serves excellent food but unfortunately no shop in the area (closed for the season). Antonis was a great host, he collected us from the port & took us to a supermarket for supplies. He lives behind the property so was on hand if needed, but not intrusive. The house itself is spacious with quiet air con & all the essentials for keeping clean (hot water) & basic self-catering.

Kom je naar Kéa, kies dan voor Vourkari. Een schattig plaatsje op 3 kilometer van Korissia. Het mooiste uitzicht vind je in de Gele Bungalow van Katerina. Op loopafstand van enkele strandjes. In Vourkari zijn voldoende restaurants en ook een mini market voor de eerste levensbehoeften. Bussen rijden in september niet meer frequent, maar een taxi is zo geregeld. Autoverhuur is in Korissia. Wij hebben voor één dag een auto gehuurd en dat was voor een rondje eiland genoeg. Chora is een leuk stadje. Loop als je hier bent door naar de leeuw van Kéa. Wat je ook onderneemt op het eiland, het “thuiskomen” in de gele bungalow blijft iets om naar uit te kijken. Het zicht op de wellicht mooiste baai van de cyckaden, de gastvrijheid van de moeder van Katherina en de korte afdaling in de avond voor een heerlijk etentje direct aan het strand.

This little cottage was ideal for us, a couple seeking quiet nights and days; the terrace is lovely day and night, under one of the more beautiful olive trees overlooking the Aegean, under the moon or at sunset. The house to us was much more beautiful than the photos. Antony was so hospitable and gave us local secrets. His family lives nearby which gives a wonderful feeling of safety and community. We had a small car which was great on the little roads. We couldn’t recommend this place more for those seeking quiet days near a low key town with affordable restaurants, and both beautiful organized (very close) and wild (require a bit more effort to get to) beaches.
