We felt privileged to be able to stay at Philippes place. In the shadow of the main house is La Galinette, a lovely 2 bedroomed house. We were met by our host, who showed us around the house and garden, which we had full use of. It had everything we needed, including lots of flyers for things to do locally. it is perfectly situated for exploring the Normandy area and D Day battle sites. There's so much to see and do. The gates to the house are closed every night making it feel like you are living in your own tiny château. We will be back.
