Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Cusseta

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was everything we needed and wanted. We went for my son who is in the Military and the location was perfect, so close to the base. We found lots to do in the area along with just relaxing within the home. So spacious, comfy, and clean. We would definitely stay again and recommend this house to anyone who is looking in this area. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave great recommendations for the surrounding area! We made so many memories that will last a lifetime!

We stayed at Brian's place for our son's Turning Green weekend. Check in was convenient and easy. Brian was super responsive for a couple of questions I had and very accommodating. We felt comfortable and relaxed at the house and there was plenty of space to spread out. The furniture and beds were cozy, the TV had ample live tv and streaming to choose from and we binged some old school Fear Factor LOL. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and there was plenty of blankets, pillows, and towels. The neighborhood felt safe, was quiet, and close to everything we needed. 15 minutes to Fort Benning, a grocery store around the corner, and 10 minutes to other shopping areas and lots of restaurants. We kept telling each other how great this worked out and we were so glad we didn't stay at a box hotel for the trip. Thanks to Brian and Sherri for a little "home away from home" while we enjoyed seeing our soldier.

House was great! We stayed here for our son’s turning green ceremony. It was only a quick 10 minute drive to the base. It’s an older ranch style house with a perfect layout! Rooms were spacious and all were very clean. Hosts were great and fast to respond with a couple items that popped up. The air wasn’t working well when we first got there but didn’t think anything of it. By third day we realized something wasn’t right because it was way too hot, this was Saturday. I messaged the host and he got right on it!! He found HVAC technician within the hour who came and got the air back working and rest of stay was in a very cool, comfortable setting. ☺️

Carolina was a gracious host who was available for questions, checked in with us to make sure everything was acceptable and was immediately available when we had a slight issue at check in—which she was able to resolve immediately. We also were able to get in a bit early which was nice. Should we be in the area again, we would look forward to staying at Columbus Haven again.

My family and I were in town for my nieces high school graduation! The house was perfect for the amount of people we had! We had 4 adults and 2 children. Ashley was quick to respond to us with any questions we had and we really appreciated it. Overall our stay was great! The mattresses and the sheets were very nice and comfy and the house was very spacious and inviting for our family!

The house was perfect… clean and close enough to the base. Perfect stay and will try to stay here again if I need to come back to Fort Benning.

The Host was very friendly and responded promptly. The home looked exactly like the pictures. Very clean, beautiful and felt homely. I would definitely recommend the home if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway.

I would recommend this cabin stay to anyone. Beautiful surroundings water front views actually everything inside was like new nice and clean. We stayed for thanksgiving and are looking forward to another stay very soon

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly accommodating. The view was absolutely stunning, and we spent hours relaxing on the porch—it was the perfect spot to unwind. The space was clean, cozy, and felt just like home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again!

The cabin was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we were able to do a lot of cooking. The gas grill on the back porch was great for gilling steaks and burgers. We loved the enclosed patio to listen to the rain and watch the birds. There was plenty of room for my family to relax and enjoy.

Peaceful cabin away from the hustle and bustle of town - exactly what I was looking for! It was perfect for our stay since we were traveling with our dogs. I felt safe and secure while there and did not have to worry about my dogs bothering anybody. The kitchen and bathroom were equipped with essentials which made the stay comfortable. There were plenty of blankets and decent sleeping accommodations with both a futon and bed available. The AC ran cold and plenty of fans available too. Evelyn was very responsive to issues and quickly addressed them. No complaints from me. If I visit the area for another extended stay, I’d definitely consider returning to Evelyn’s cabin!

The lodge is awesome, hosted all the people I needed. Had everything you could need or want. While being in calmer country side, it’s close enough to the city for a night out. Overall it’s a great place to stay, well worth.

Ms. Evelyn and her cabin were absolutely wonderful! I drove from Idaho with my dog to see my son’s Turning Green ceremony at Fort Benning. I was looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat for my boy to be able to relax and reset before he starts his next phase of training in the Army and Ms. Evelyns cabin provided just that. Thank you Ms. Evelyn for a wonderful home to relax in for our weekend! We loved it!
