Our retreat consists of 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bathroom and 1 living room equipped with a small kitchen and a barbecue outside. In the parish there is a pharmacy, supermarkets, gas station and restaurant that belongs to the owner of the bungalow where you can have lunch at an affordable price. 5 minutes from the river and the chapel of S. João with pool and barbecue area, benches and tables. 20 minutes away you can enjoy Esposende beach and Cabedelo, 20 minutes from Barcelos and 40 minutes from Porto

The Wind Mill

Beautifully located in hills overlooking the Atlantic Ocean sits the Marinhas windmill. The windmill dates from the year 1758 and was built in the traditional northern Portuguese style with circular walls, two floors, an entrance on the grown floor and two windows on the upper floor. It is classified as a municipal heritage building. The mill is 130 meters above sea level thus providing a breathtaking view over the towns and ocean and a unique retreat for the more adventurous guest.

My place is wonderful for families looking for peace and quiet. A few minutes from Viana do Castelo, Barcelos, Esposende or the oldest and most ancient Vila de Portugal, (Ponte de Lima), this space is also very good for families (with kids). Surrounded by green fields and woods with streams, the Atlantic Ocean is also about 10 minutes away, with fabulous beaches between Esposende, Viana do Castelo or Moledo. The Gerês mountain range is about 40 minutes away. Spain is 35 km away.

Cascata Studio

This is a unique space, with stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding nature. Ideal for a weekend of adventure! Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. On the other hand, the sound of nature takes on a fantastic dimension, with the river water and birds surrounding us completely. Access is made (in the last 500 meters) by land and it is necessary to pay attention to the directions we provide so that you do not get lost.

Fisherman House 30 steps from sea

This tiny house, was a fisherman typical warehouse and is located in the last fisherman neighborhood, and still today resist to empire state dealers! It's turned back to the sea, but still close to it, so close that in strong winter sea comes to the door :). Approximately 50 meters from the beach, You'll find yourself in the middle of fisherman boats traffic and right in the center of the first hand fish sale. And sea lovers of course :)

Exceptional location! Magnificent view of the beach, just in front of the private balcony in 2º floor, lots of sun and natural light in all the apartment. A beautiful green park at the other side of the street whith an amazing pedestrian and ciclo via along the Cávado river. The cozy apartment you can see in the photos...is realy nice and super comfortable for 2 persons. Really safe neighborhood all around.

Our guest house is separate, with privacy & all comforts in Quinta Viana, a fenced 1.2-hectare site in the valley of the Cávado River. Here it is wonderfully peaceful & surrounded by fragrant eucalyptus forest. A saltwater pool is available for refreshing baths for our guests. The flower-rich swing offers our guests space to linger. The Atlantic coast is (12 minutes) away with many beaches & restaurants.
