Micah and Lori were great hosts who ensured we had a great Maine stay. They gave travel recommendations and their place was very clean and had everything we needed. Windham was a nice little town with a beautiful lake and easy navigation. Would stay again!

We had a great stay at Diane and Joe’s place—it was exactly as described and exceptionally clean. We decided to arrive a day early, and Diane was kind enough to accommodate us without hesitation. She was consistently responsive and pleasant throughout our stay. The Reno Barn itself is charming and comfortable. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the back deck, which has cozy seating and an umbrella for shade—a perfect spot to unwind. While the spiral staircase to the loft and second bedroom might be a bit tricky for some, it wasn’t an issue for us. The master bedroom on the lower level was very comfortable, and we appreciated the generous supply of sheets, towels, and blankets. While the location isn’t walkable, it offers easy access to both downtown Portland and the airport, each just a 15-minute drive away. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend this place to others. We’d be happy to stay here again the next time we’re in the Portland area.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Emma's place. I came both times for a workshop and ceremony that took place in both Freeport and in Portland. Drives to Portland were the longest, and not too taking, and I chose to stay at Emma's place BECAUSE of the way the house holds me: the spaciousness, the attention to art and wisdom, the lighting and unfussy-yet-design-inspired furniture choices, the plant life, the textures and colors: all these things are soothing and welcoming. It was a pleasure to drive "home" exhausted, knowing what it feels like to open that back door.

Jeffrey’s guest house is super special, it was amazing to be able to look out every window to experience coastal Maine and so serene and peaceful. Located on a beautiful property right on the bay in a wooded setting. Very private and quiet. We absolutely loved our stay - in fact we extended it another 3 days to be able to enjoy it longer. Jeffrey was very accommodating and even credited us for the 2nd cleaning fee charged by Airbnb because we needed to change our payment method for the extended stay. I can’t say enough about the comfy bed!! I felt like I was sleeping in a cloud with super soft sheets and perfect mattress. I wish all Airbnb hosts were as thoughtful about the personal touches as Jeffrey. I had to work a bit during the trip and the internet was very stable and easy to connect to. It was a perfect retreat for us. Highly recommend staying here! We will. Definitely will Return!

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

This home was perfect for our stay in Maine. It had everything we could have needed short of groceries. Three nights were definitely not enough to fully experience it.

We needed a place for my son’s externship. Setup for a long stay and feel like home. All the amenities made for an easy tradition to have everything provided and setup beyond expectations. Super quick and kind with any questions and concerns. Would highly recommend anyone to stay at this listing. A east walk to downtown and any site seeing.

The space was exactly as described. It was well accompanied, bright, very quiet and well located. Ren was very helpful when I had a question. Price was affordable. Worth visiting!

We had a great stay. The location is quiet but just a few minutes away from amazing restaurants, cafes, and breweries. Highlights: The bed was super comfortable. The sauna was great on a rainy day. The walkability to the Back Bay trail was appreciated.

Alex was very communicative and the location is perfect for easy access to downtown Portland. The space was quiet and private. The designated parking spot is also a great perk given how much of a hassle it can be to park in downtown Portland. Definitely recommend staying here!

My dog and I had a great time here and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. We found lots of dog-friendly hikes and nature reserves nearby within 15-30 minutes . Otherwise we enjoyed the peaceful yard and small brook on the property. Beautiful and thoughtful rental, with very friendly hosts.

We were very happy with the quiet neighborhood. The house was spacious, clean and welcoming. Parking off street was a plus. We will definitely revisit this Airbnb.

This is the perfect stay for two people for a getaway in Portland! You'll get a quiet spot in a nice neighborhood that is walkable to anything you would want to do or see in town. Sharon and Eric were awesome hosts and their place was a great place to recharge each day after being out and about in Portland. Highly recommend you book here!

Such a cozy place! I was on a trip alone and I felt so comfortable and safe. Definitely a place I’m booking next time I’m back in Maine.

Great place to stay if you want to be close to downtown but with a larger, comfortable space. The place is exactly as described, exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. No dollar store products here! The ground coffee and half and half really made it feel like we were staying at a friend’s home.

This was a teeny tiny condo (<200 sq ft!) but spotlessly clean, well appropriated, and a great location. The bed was comfy and the loft area was tall enough to sit up and move around. It was a 5 minute walk to Pine Point Beach. There are about dozen other tiny cottages in the condo association, clustered around a central parking lot, so if all of them were full there wouldn’t be a ton of privacy but we were there in the off season and it was peaceful and quiet.

We only had two nights at Dave’s place but wish we could’ve stayed longer. The decor was great and matched the Maine vibe while it also had all the modern amenities an Airbnb needs. Only ten minutes into the centre of Portland and very close to the beach as well. We didn’t use the kitchen but it seemed to be fully stocked. The washer and dryer were also very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

We loved the location. We were right around the corner from our son and his wife. We had Thanksgiving there and while missing some of the space and amenities of my own kitchen it worked out great. The place is very spacious. We had eight and everyone was.comfortable. One bathroom was rough at times but we made it work. I would love to go back again.
