It seems that we have rated Cara's place very well and five stars, that's because it has earned this rating. From the moment we drove in the gate we loved it. It was my wife's 70th birthday celebration and her family all arrived the following day. They were in awe as much as we were. The perfect place for a family gathering, relaxation, beautiful views. The house - everything - was amazing! There was no way anyone wanted to leave and we are already hoping for a return soon. We absolutely loved the kitchen and it was so easy to prepare a High Tea for the morning and birthday cake, and then a roast dinner at night. Cosy fire at night. Thank you so much. Lovely quiet home with everything you need. Clean and bright with a great fenced garden area. Handy for Stanthorpe and all the Granite Belt has to offer. Teresa who manages the property was a delight and very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. Fantastic historic cabin peaceful with amazing views. We were fortunate to experience Dean's extensive collection of leather work from the past and what he currently makes. A totally enjoyable farm. Loved the horses and cows. Thanks Kim and Dean!

Ok, for those reading this review please do so knowing it is genuine, unsolicited and because I actually wanted to write a review about how wonderful our stay was. This is Melt and your host..... Melt is everything the other reviews say - yes, it's secluded, yes it's luxury, yes it's non pretentious, yes the rainshower that overlooks endless forest is magical and romantic, and yes you wake up to kangaroos hopping around in the forest to breathtaking sunrises as you sip a coffee in bed. (Hopefully made for you by your partner!) But let me talk about what is more important. The entire booking process was flawless. And attention to detail in every aspect, from HOW to actually get in, HOW to get there with clear directions, and WHO you are dealing with. A couple of hours from the hustle and bustle of Brisbane. The only thing you need to do when you arrive is unpack, smile, light the fire, and pour a relaxing glass of wine! Thankyou guys, this won't be the last time we visit!
