Hotel vacation rentals in Cuenca

Literalmente te sientes como en casa, excelente servicio , excelente ubicación, , y el servicio que da de desayuno es exquisito y la gente es muy amable. El ambiente es tranquilo y hogareño. La ubicación es perfecta, ya que caminado al centro es unos 12 min y al mismo tiempo estás en un barrio de vivienda con restaurantes muy cerca y es un barrio lleno de árboles.

I feel very fortunate to have found Alonzo and Marc's place and to have gotten to know them. It is an intimate, beautifully restored Colonial Building with a classic central courtyard with pristine rooms. It is in what I consider a perfect location in Cuenca being in the historical district as well as basically on the river as well which is a gorgeous place to get a major dose of mother nature right in the city. Their place is right on probably the most popular street in Cuenca yet feels quiet and peaceful due to the 3 foot thick walls separating it from the street. I can not imagine anyone being disappointed with staying here. I have been here 5 weeks and really do not want to leave but alas, I must.

I gave all five stars because of the host, Tania. A critical guest might have dinged a star, here and there; but to me, it is the experience that matters. I got to experience Ecuadorian hospitality and friendliness. That is why I have retired to Ecuador, permanently. I have moved to another place but Tania is going to come by and pick me up tomorrow to help me get a bus pass, since she speaks Spanish and knows the system and I don't. That makes me feel happy and welcome in Ecuador. Despite us only being able to communicate with translation apps.

The rental unit provided by Patricio was excellent! We were received at the door with open arms! The house is extremely spacious and there are plenty of places to chill like in the garden with Coco (the nicest dog) or in the terrace with amazing views! We were given individual water bottles, shower soap and shampoo and even some sweets! 😊 Another highlight, the place is extremely extremely clean! Everything is cleaned daily, also your rooms if you wish. The hosts are very friendly and attentive and the house has so good energies! Highly recommend it if you are looking for such place! The city centre is only 15 min walking distance! 😊

En realidad el alojamiento estuvo excelente, David es una persona que responde siempre y está pendiente de lo que necesites, lo único que tuvimos inconveniente fue que la cerradura inteligente se descargó por el asunto de los cortes de energía. De ahí la estadía es excelente

Great location yet quiet. DigNomad approved! Wonderful hosts! Helpful and friendly staff (Erica and Cristian rock). Great 24/7 security. Average Internet of 15Mbps was not the best (maybe city infra is limited?). I do technical work. I need reliable Internet service. It was adequate. Youtube no problem. The hosts were very responsive to make sure I had what I needed. At first I was a bit confused because I saw one name on the listing, but seemed to be communicating with someone else before I arrived. Turned out it is a family running the business. Turned out to be a bonus. Ana Maria and fam are awesome, welcoming! The front portion is a hotel. That means you get concierge service. There is always someone 24/7 manning the front doors to let you in and answer questions. The bonus is that the apartment is behind a locked courtyard. Access is very private. You get on-site staff 24/7, including personal laundry service at a reasonable cost. I stayed a month. Would gladly stay 6 months!
