The luxury bits: French linen bedding, robes, soft towels & toiletries, woodburner, a good book, no street lights..You might just sleep better than you have in years. The rustic bits: There's hot water & a large sink in the bathroom- & kitchen- & a hot outdoor shower at the back of the cabin running off gas & hose, which according to the reviews, is rather a favourite! In the winter the cabin is heated by the woodburner, or a portable gas fire.

The Forge is a unique place full of character set at the edge of Dartmoor and only 2 miles from the market town of Tavistock. The Forge is a great place for cyclists and walkers, or if you just want to get away from it all. The Cornish Coast is not far and the city of Plymouth full of history is just a short car journey. Tavistock has the markets and lovely cafes and restaurants. The Forge has a log burner to snuggle up next too on those chilly evenings and a garden to enjoy.

Our recently refurbished bungalow is within 5 minutes walk of Whitchurch Down and the vast expanse of Dartmoor. We are a 20-minute walk into Tavistock or 5 minutes by bus/car. There's a dog shower so should your best friend get muddy whilst on the moor, it is easy to get them clean! There is fast broadband available and smart TVs in the lounge and bedroom. There is a local pub and village shop within 5 minutes walk.

Glen Tors is a light and airy self contained 1st floor annexe. You will find a comfy bed, kitchenette and separate bathroom with super views over Dartmoor and open countryside. It's a 10 minute walk to Tavistock town centre where you will discover a wide variety of independent shops and boutiques, eateries for all pockets and tastes and the renowned Pannier market.
