You need to board a boat ride to San Miguel, I did not have too much time there because I went to Tikal but supposed to ba a great beach on that side and some good lookout there too. This is definitely the quiet side; but roosters crowing early in the morning though.

This is a great base for visiting Tikal and Yaxha. We were very comfortable. In fact it was the best place we stayed in during our two weeks in Guatemala and Liseth is very responsive and helpful.

Price is right for the location, easy walk to Flores Island(30minutes) or 5 min. by tuk tuk 10Q per person. ($2cdn.) we enjoyed the daily walk and the vibe, be sure to explore flores island & San Miguel a short boat ride across, where you will find a archaeological dig, a walk through the forest on a new boardwalk, museum and a high lookout of Peten Itsa and much more. Edelyn and her family are wonderful hosts and helped us book our adventure to Tikal wow! what a treat! I could go on, but I will end with, I would definitely stay with Edelyn at her place again

Eine sehr neue und moderne Unterkunft. Wir waren zu siebt dort und hatten viel Platz. Man hat viele Annehmlichkeiten, zb eine geräumige Waschküche mit Trockner und Klimaanlagen in allen Räumen. Einziges Manko war ein sehr unangenehmer Geruch, der ab und zu in den Bädern und Toiletten oder der AC kam.

An alle Reisenden: Bucht bei Umberto, verbringt die Zeit an diesem herrlichen Ort, geniesst die Dschungellaute, kommt zur Ruhe und fühlt Euch aufgenommen wie zuhause! Ich hatte wunderbare Tage dort, Umberto ist ein klasse Gastgeber, das Glamping-Zelt ist fantastisch, es hat so viele kleine Details zu bieten und man schläft tief und fest! Seit 30 Jahren bin ich schon überall unterwegs, habe viel gesehen und erlebt. Umberto‘s AirBnB hat das Zeug dazu, ein Lieblingsplatz zu werden, wie ihn viele Reisende schätzen und kennen! Die Location ist perfekt, um abseits des Trubels der Flores-Insel zu sein, dennoch so einfach in 2min mit dem Boot jederzeit zu erreichen. Auf Anfrage macht Umberto ein leckeres Frühstück, hilft bei der Touren-Planung, steht mit Tipps parat und hilft wo er kann. Gleich um die Ecke beim Supermarkt gibt es leckeres Streetfood (Tacos, Burritos etc.). Ich komme wieder, das ist sicher (denn ein Lieblingsplatz braucht „Fernweh-Pflege“)! La estadía estuvo muy bien, la casa bastante ordenada y limpia. La comunicación con fabiola fue excelente y nos apoyo bastante. Recomiendo hospedarse.

We rented the apartment for two night. From the start Mirna was extremely responsive which I appreciated. We arrived before check in time she allowed us to leave our bags which was also helpful for my family since we were traveling with kids. The apartment is in a quiet area and it was very spacious. The apartment was clean but linens had a little smell. Nonetheless the host appreciated the feedback. Overall I recommend staying here.
