You need to board a boat ride to San Miguel, I did not have too much time there because I went to Tikal but supposed to ba a great beach on that side and some good lookout there too. This is definitely the quiet side; but roosters crowing early in the morning though.

Price is right for the location, easy walk to Flores Island(30minutes) or 5 min. by tuk tuk 10Q per person. ($2cdn.) we enjoyed the daily walk and the vibe, be sure to explore flores island & San Miguel a short boat ride across, where you will find a archaeological dig, a walk through the forest on a new boardwalk, museum and a high lookout of Peten Itsa and much more. Edelyn and her family are wonderful hosts and helped us book our adventure to Tikal wow! what a treat! I could go on, but I will end with, I would definitely stay with Edelyn at her place again

I absolutely LOVED staying at this property! At the end of long days exploring I couldn’t imagine a more peaceful place to come back to! I really enjoyed the outdoor bathroom and shower! Umberto was a gracious, responsive host with great recommendations and conversation. His breakfast was a highlight - especially the homemade bread and jam! I have traveled all over the world and this place holds a special place in my heart!

We rented the apartment for two night. From the start Mirna was extremely responsive which I appreciated. We arrived before check in time she allowed us to leave our bags which was also helpful for my family since we were traveling with kids. The apartment is in a quiet area and it was very spacious. The apartment was clean but linens had a little smell. Nonetheless the host appreciated the feedback. Overall I recommend staying here.

We are fascinated by the Airbnb, a very clean, tidy place with a spectacular view of the lake, the price is very accessible, the kindness and attention from the owners was too good, excellent kindness, personalized attention, they were attentive in case we wanted anything. It is definitely a very nice place where I would like to stay again in the future.

A beautiful secluded paradise next to the lake. The sounds of nature is all you hear. Absolutely wonderful stay for us. Plenty of beds, host is very attentive and kind. The home was spotless clean, with a welcome bottle of Rose - a nice touch. Sitting outside in the morning with a coffee with music playing, looking at the lake and taking in that you are in jungle... its great. Very difficult to find. Address was incorrect on the map, and with spotty to no cell service (I have a major US carrier and it was struggling)... this made check in a bit freaky. But it is the jungle and you gotta be up for the adventure...as the listing says! Not to worry though - this was the only issue, and the host met us quickly and guided us to where we need to be. Once there - it was simply fantastic. The jetskis are awesome!! You will love this place. I booked it due to it being a much higher rated place, and I can confirm that the ratings are deserved. Will definitely stay again.

Douglas was very responsive to our questions and quickly addressed minor issues during our stay.Moises , the property care taker was very helpful & responsive during our stay .He truly went above and beyond to ensure we are comfortable throughout our stay. I could have stayed forever in this place, overlooking the lake. Your neighbour is Lou. He organises great trips to the jungle and rents canoes. The village is supernice. Friendly and so relaxed. We met many nice people. Lucrecia was our great help when we left thekeys in the apartment. In 10 minutes she arrived with the spare ones. We were so happy. The house has all you need and the styling is lovely. We would come back! It was too short. Thanx for all 😀

We loved this place from the moment we arrived. It is spacious, very nice and has an impressive view, just as seen in the photos. We had only planned to stay one day, but as soon as we arrived, we didn't want to leave anymore. The tranquility that is breathed here is simply perfect for unwinding and relaxing with the family. Also, everything is so photogenic that we couldn't stop taking photos. 100% recommended, we would definitely come back!
