Monthly Rentals in Cross Village

We loved our visit to the little house, there were tons of mowed trails to wander and explore and our kids loved running around and looking at all the cars and treasures, the photos don't do it justice. The home was clean and cute and vintage and peaceful. Highly recommend if you need a getaway and like to be outdoors to walk without having to drive somewhere. It was just a short drive to Mackinaw City and the lakeshore as well.

Chris and his wife were truly outstanding hosts—warm, welcoming, and always ready with a friendly chat whenever we crossed paths. They went above and beyond to offer helpful local tips and personalized recommendations, which made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. The property itself was in a perfect location—peaceful, scenic, and conveniently situated for exploring the area.What really stood out was the thoughtful attention to detail throughout our stay. Their dogs were some of the sweetest and most well-behaved I’ve ever met. One of the nicest surprises was when they gifted us some Petoskey stones, which made the stay feel even more special and thoughtful. The place felt very welcoming and was definitely worth the price. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

This was such a find! We loved the cozy “up north” style accommodations during our Harbor Springs/Mackinac Island adventure. The homemade zucchini bread, eggs, and fixings were such a thoughtful touch, and we appreciated borrowing the beach chairs when we wandered to the beach. The cottage serves exceedingly well as a home base while exploring the entire area. All the cottage’s comforts calmly blend with the perennial flower beds abundant with blooms as well as forested space outlining the open yard. Inside the cottage, the warm hue of pine paneling softens the already cushy living room furniture. Climbing the staircase to the cottage’s sleeping quarters is reminiscent of rising above shipboard spaces at water level to the crow’s nest. Beds afford restful sleep ensuring plenty of energy for the next vacation activity. All of the Little Traverse region’s attractions are very close by car. Traveling away from the cottage highlights beautiful scenery in any direction. Although, remaining within Cross Village, cottage guests may walk to the village market for groceries, visit Three Pines Studio and Gallery, dine at well known Legs Inn, and spend time at the Beach on Lake Michigan. All of these attractions are a short walk of between 5 and 15 minutes.
