House vacation rentals in Cros

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We highly recommend the house! The communication with Kevin was very straightforward and friendly. The house was very clean and had a great atmosphere! We loved the tranquility and had everything we needed! The area is very well maintained, safe and everything can be reached in a short time.

We had a great time at the Magnanerie du Monteil. The place is quiet and charming. We were able to benefit from Lydie's many tips on activities (hiking, canoeing, swimming in rivers, visiting charming villages, lunch in good restaurants). A perfect stay!

The house is just amazing! It's big and comfortable, has any kitchenware you could ever need to prepare any dinner imaginable and even more! The garden is simply beautiful, our cat was beyond happy to explore every corner of it. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was already too cold to swim, but it adds to the beauty of the garden and we just enjoyed sitting by it in the sun. Thank you Jean-Philippe and Brigitte, for this amazing place. We will be happy to return some day!

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

Joyceline's place is located on a huge property above Lodève, with lots of trees and meadow. A fantastic unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains inspired us every day. A nice pool is located at the landlady's house, but that does not bother us, as she always keeps discreetly in the background and we did not feel disturbed. We have implemented almost all of your excursion tips, they were great destinations, all within 1/2 to one hour by car.

We had a great time. Florence is available, welcoming and gives good advice. A beautiful environment and view... What more can I say... we will gladly go back!! Thank you

Silvia and Joseph are really great hosts. The reception is very warm and the accommodation itself is exceptional. La petite Clède cévenole au bord de l'Herault is very clean and practical: really everything you need is present. The cottage has been renovated with an eye for authenticity and decorated with love. It is in a remote location but is still easily accessible. Due to the nice chats, the spontaneous helpfulness and the good balance between privacy and pleasant contact, we felt right at home. Staying in la petite Clède cévenole is great and we can absolutely recommend it.

We had a quiet stay and enjoyed this original home. The interior aspect made us feel like we were in a cave but well arranged. We were pleasantly surprised. The major quality is the fact of its environment, the olive trees and the extent of its garden.

It’s a beautiful house located in a nice little village. The house has two terraces so that you always find sun. It’s very clean and functional while preserving its cosy cottage style. Just perfect. We will come back.

Awesome character home on the vineyard. matches the photos perfectly, great access to the vineyard grounds where you can see chickens, horses and sheep as you walk around. Perfect for walking into town or day trips to Montpellier & Nimes. Ticked all the boxes for us.

We had a great time at Eugenie and Kader's! The accommodation is clean and comfortable, there is everything you need to cook! The terrace is very nice for dinner overlooking the mountains. We loved being with the animals throughout the stay, and the welcome by the hosts was very warm! Well located for hiking!

It was a wonderful stay. For a weekend, we were able to enjoy François' accommodation, which is very well-equipped. The views are breathtaking, the environment is soothing and rejuvenating. The house is secluded and calls for slowing down, which is very nice. Thank you for this opportunity to create beautiful memories with family.

An incredibly pleasant place, a peaceful and bright environment.
