Photos don’t do the view justice. Jeremy was a great host. This is a cabin type experience. We stayed in the winter and used the cottage as a home base for skiing and other activities which was great. Quick ride over to Arrowtown and Queenstown but far away enough to feel private and peaceful. Some important points regarding previous reviews I read about the place being “cold”…the ground floor is all slate stone…as Jeremy recommended, just bring some sandals or slippers to wear around. There is a large heat pump, a lovely pot belly stove, and space heaters and all the beds have blanket heaters which we actually didn’t use because they were too hot…so it’s easy to stay warm and the view and coziness are well worth it, but if you’re expecting a thermostat in a hotel room that you set and leave…this wouldn’t be the place for you. We loved our stay and the host was very responsive.

Stephen is truly a gentleman and the place is absolutely stunning! The hot tub was the highlight and Stephen was kind enough to get it ready for us when we wanted. Wanaka is short drive from the vineyard and there are plenty of other great places to visit nearby! If you’re looking to stay in this region, go for it !

Great accommodations in queenstown. Host was very responsive and the internet was fast. Only downside was that there was construction upstairs for 2 days in a row which was pretty irritating and they accidentally cut off the internet while I was working. I don’t think it is a common occurrence. Would definitely rebook if I’m ever in this neck of the woods.

Best Airbnb we have stayed at, Sean is an amazing host, very generous and made us feel welcome. The airbnb itself is beautifully designed and is a perfect retreat for those wanting a getaway for a few nights. We particularly loved the spa and the lovely spacious decking surrounded by trees. Would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this airbnb. 10/10

We had a wonderful family getaway the home accommodated eight guests very comfortably with all the facilities required to make you feel like you were at home. Very quiet neighbourhood but still close enough to Arrowtown and all facilities to really enjoy Queenstown and its surroundings. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a very comfortable stay.

Fabulous house to stay in, close to Treble Cone and Cardrona ski fields. Great view of Roy’s Peak from the upstairs bedrooms. Heaps of space, very cosy, had a wide array of drinkware, cutlery, bakeware, even a bread maker! Would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Wānaka and we would absolutely stay again next time we have an extended family ski trip.

What a lovely place! The location is great if you have a car or bike—close to Arrowtown, Lake Hayes, wineries, and a golf course. Tessa is a friendly host who asked about our milk preference and provided oat milk as requested. She also provided an iron when we arrived, just as we’d asked.

The private, self-contained space was perfect for our stay. Liisa was incredibly responsive and answered all our questions with warmth and clarity. She's even thoughtfully prepared recommendations for Queenstown and Arrowtown restaurants! A delightful bonus was Lily, the adorable cat, who occasionally stopped by to say hello! The Cornish Point house is a great option for a large family or a couple of families. The house is older but in good condition with large rooms. Each room has an ensuite. The kitchen is small for the size of the house but two people can be in there cooking ok. The dinning table seated 8 of us just with the use of outside chairs. The fireplace warmed the house well and was nice to drink a Pinot in front of. The location is great for popping on to the most beautiful part of the Lake Dunston trail and just down the road from Carrick Winery which has a great restaurant for lunch and also casual pizzas etc until 5pm. We sat in the sun there and drank wine and ate Pizza and admired the view and it was awesome. There are fleeting views of the lake/river from the house due to planting inbetween the house and the water. It would be amazing to clear a better view there!
