The Coachhouse is cosy and quiet. It has its own entrance and is completely separate from the main house. There is a private gated courtyard that guests are also welcome to use. Only 5 minutes from East Kilbride and 20 minutes from Glasgow but surrounded by fields and countryside Full use of the Coachhouse and the courtyard next to it Feel free to contact me with any queries by phone, text, e mail The property is only a couple of minutes from the village of Carmunnock, a pretty conservation village and the only official village left in Glasgow. There is a local shop, pharmacy, and an excellent restaurant in the town. There is parking next to the Coachhouse. Getting around by car is ideal but we are also only minutes from two train stations and there are regular buses in the village minutes up the road. We have two dogs but they are friendly and kept in the main house or our back garden.

We live in the property below so will be on hand most of the time. Dependant on our availability we may be able to offer airport pick up. John made my stay in this room very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean on my arrival and the kitchen the same stocked with all the cooking utensils you need. The room was a very comfortable size with a clean bed, large cupboard and a big window for sunlight. The proximity to multiple bus lines and subway stations was extremely useful - I felt safe in this area to walk home from them once it was dark too. John was very responsive and courteous and I was comfortable to mention if there was anything I needed to improve my stay but there was nothing! Thanks John!

Victoria and her lovely dog Vince were very warm and friendly. Enjoyed staying in the space and interacting with them as well! It’s right next to a big park and plenty of food places in the vicinity as well. Bus stop is right outside so it’s very easy to get into town as well. Would definitely recommend!

We had such great time staying at Kristy's for 4 nights. The apartment was really spacious, spotless clean and had a beautiful balcony view. The area felt very safe and had some good coffee and pub options. It was also very easy to get to the city centre via the train. Kristy was an amazing host giving us lots of recommendations for Glasgow as well as the rest of our trip around Scotland. She made sure we felt comfortable in the apartmentment and that we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay with Kristy again when back in Glasgow.

Jenny's place was ideal for our short trip to Glasgow. It couldn't be better situated; right next to a train station with a couple of good coffee shops practically on the doorstep. The lovely Queens Park is only a 5-10min walk away. The bedroom itself is huge and comfortable. The only slight issue we had was with the shower - it was hot and powerful, but very easily flooded the floor which was a bit stressful! Other than that, absolutely no complaints. Jenny was a friendly and responsive host and we'd consider staying here again.

Great flat, 5 mins walk from the local train station, itself only 7 minutes from Glasgow Q St. Peaceful flat, building, surroundings and host. Perfectly so for writing a book, the purpose of my visit. Flat large enough, and sound proofed enough, to almost have no knowledge of the other guests, host etc. Perfectly adequate electric shower, and unlimited hot water from the taps, so no worries running anything out for others in the flat. Certainly would recommend, and use again. The stay was over too quickly. Pubs, cafes, supermarkets all within a 10/15 minutes walk.
