House vacation rentals in Crawford County

Dillon’s place was great. It was easy to get to everything we needed and wanted to do while visiting Ft. Smith. The place was clean and well stocked. We had 4 adults and 1 child with us and we were all comfortable in the space without feeling cramped. The beds were comfy and I especially appreciated the showers having necessities as I didn’t remember to bring my shampoo & body wash. By far though we all enjoyed hanging out in the game room. From the decor to the pool table to the record player…it was all great. I definitely would recommend staying here again. In fact we are thinking of booking again over the summer so we can take advantage of the pool.

We used Grace's property as a filming location for a documentary interview, and it was a fantastic experience. Grace was an exceptional host—responsive, accommodating, and incredibly helpful with our unique requests, always making us feel like nothing was too much. The property itself was stunning and looked absolutely beautiful on camera, impressing our director. I highly recommend this property for anyone in need of an interview location. This was a beautiful place to stay for the new year with our family while we were visiting family in OK! Very close to the Arkansas border so that was neat too! Great space to get away to!

I highly recommend “Peace of Country”. It is definitely well named! The house is calm, quiet, open, private, very peaceful and tastefully decorated. It was the perfect location. It was the perfect place to stay during an eventful weather-challenged wedding weekend. I really enjoyed the rocking chairs on the covered front porch especially during the rain. Very relaxing. I can’t say enough great things about the hosts, Jenesis and Frank. They were so kind, flexible and responsive. We had to extend our stay a day and they took care of it instantly. Jenesis went above and beyond to help us in the pouring rain. She was so gracious and kind. “Peace of Country” was perfect for us , on this crazy but lovely weekend!

The house and property itself were beautiful! The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. The yard and property was so pretty- our kids loved exploring the little creek and walking to the river. A couple things we noticed: Google Maps gave incorrect directions. The hosts explained that they cut off early, but aside from that, it had us turning into someone’s driveway- showing it was a road. It was not- the homeowner was not happy. We were pulling a 16 foot enclosed trailer and that was tricky to get backed out. Another thing that isn’t explained well in the description is how narrow and steep the actual driveway to the cabin is. They mentioned that a four wheel drive vehicle is recommended, but if you’re pulling a trailer, know that it will be extremely tight to get down the driveway, and if it rains, would be a bit of a sketchy situation getting back out.

We had a group of 11 men and women who gathered together to see the fabulous stage show "Shen Yun." It was such a fun experience. Everyone was so blessed with the environment. The pool table became a big hit after the show!

Everything was just as pictured. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space in the house.

Elizabeth is a great host and her house is exactly what we needed after long days at work. We will visit with her again when we are in the area.

This was a combination trip for us. Our 20th anniversary and a get away for me dealing with cancer. We stayed 10 days and didn’t want to leave. The house was charming. We had a couple incidents, but everything was resolved very quickly. If my health allows, I would love to return one day. I highly recommend this charming house to anyone. Thank you for allowing us to make such wonderful memories in your home.

The house was extremely clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The kitchen and bathrooms were luxuriously and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. A charming environment to host a family gathering. Highly recommended!

This place is ideal for anyone with little ones. Lots of fun toys. No tv but was nice sitting around snd visiting in the evenings. Accidentally got locked out but the host was quick to the rescue. Watch out for the back top step though. Son in law almost went down the entire flight in the dark. It’s pretty steep. We will be back for sure.

This Airbnb of Douglas' is extraordinary. We have traveled the world and the U.S., and I believe this is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The home is roomy and lovely, and the view is SPECTACULAR! I hope this Airbnb continues to operate, as we would love to come back, bring our family, and recommend it to our friends. I want to start off with a warning about the hot tub so that it will be seen without needing to expand this review — The hot tub is EXTREMELY hot, unlike any i have ever experienced. So a word of caution to not let kids just get in before it is checked. I would suggest taking the lid off at least 30 min to a hour before use as well as turning the temp down. It was set at 90 but literally felt like 120°. I was able to get it down to 86° and it was still too hot to be in. 80° would probably be the perfect setting. This home is beautiful. Has everything you need for a home away from home, especially a stocked kitchen. Two bath robes in every bedroom closet was a nice added touch. The beds were all comfortable memory foam with mattress toppers for added comfort. The bed sheets were so very soft. The neighborhood was nice and peaceful.

Cute home in an older transitional area. Very quiet and close to downtown area.
