Vacation rentals with a kayak in Craven County

My son and I fished a local tournament out of the Vandemere wildlife boat launch. We usually drive an hour there and hour back. We were able to get there on Thursday, fished in AM and checked into house afterwards. We relaxed and felt immediately at home. Very clean, well maintained, everything you need to cook and eat there, also a coffee pot, Such a cute cozy comfortable coastal themed house. What a beautiful property! Upon arrival we were even more surprised at how nice the home was. Great views of the Nuese River and downtown New Bern. The kids really enjoyed the bunk room, outdoor slide and fishing off the dock. The interior of the home was very clean and well decorated. The home is very private and peacful, but still only 10 minutes to drive over to downtown New Bern for lots of activities. Definitely would stay at this home again the next time we are in New Bern.

This was an AMAZING place! I wish we had more time here. Picked up pizza from a cool place called The Silos. Pool is seasonal and opens in May. Very quiet, peaceful area. We had the beach all to ourselves. Lots of amenities like various shampoo and conditioners, coffee, plastic bags, blankets, books, and games. It was easy to find and get into. I hope we can book again someday!

We loved our time in Ben’s home. Our girls can’t wait to come back and our dogs lived their best lives playing on the beach, the house was spacious and comfortable, we loved every moment. The sunrises are a thing of beauty and should not be missed!

Blue heaven was a lovely place. My family of two children and My grandmother-in-law and my wife enjoyed a 5-day vacation down by the river. The kids enjoyed kayaking, and another fun water activities. The home is cute and quirky. there's plenty to do with lawn games and a safe place to swim. Our hosts are lovely, responsive, and accommodating.

Perfect place to stay to visit ny family who live in Meritt, NC. Close by, easy to get to. Pretty farm roads, water views. Great layout and comfortable accommodations. Nothing more was needed, we were thankful to have this great house to come to.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The space was clean, spacious, and we were pleasantly surprised at how many amenities we found, specifically in the kitchen. We were so happy to find a space that was pet friendly - our dogs loved exploring the neighborhood & playing in the river. The hosts are very friendly & welcoming. I would recommend and I would definitely stay again if in New Bern!

We were very happy with the property! Very peaceful and relaxing. We brought our pontoon and we're able to dock it right at our place, after launching nearby. We absolutely loved being right on the water and enjoyed some time in New Bern as well. Thank you for a great stay!

Serenity Pointe was amazing! It was exactly as described! We went down to relax, recharge, hang out with friends, and fish! We were able to all of that and come home refreshed! As someone who loves the Oriental area, this house was conveniently located to some of my favorite places! We enjoyed dinner at Silos & shopping at the Nautical Wheeler! The dock was a huge added bonus for soaking up some sun & the fire pit was perfect for evening s'mores!
