Crofters' Cottage at North View

AlanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely cottage, lots of nice touches. Can't fault Alison's communication - always available. Cooked breakfast was mindblowing, so make sure you book that, at least once... Just don't expect to eat lunch that day! We also had the Indian meal, which was also great. Her mixed berry jam is lovely. Animals/meadow and space for the dog etc were perfect for what we needed. Very private and peaceful. We had steak at the Millbank Arms one night and also had sausage rolls/cornish pasties etc from Coughlans - both worth doing/visiting. Finally the Mainsgill Farm shop is great for a look around - highly recommend the sausages etc! Thanks again for your hospitality.

Stylish House To Escape & Relax(closing in August)

HollyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a special place! I wish I had booked for longer. Otters Rest is is found in a quiet, secluded and private little nook of Clitheroe. The river right underneath you is the most relaxing sound, and the place itself is just stunning. Even the small details down to the underfloor heating in the bathroom and the glass ceiling which makes you feel as though you are showering in the woods… it was perfect. Thoroughly recommend this place to anyone looking for some peace and tranquility in a stunning little sun trap ☀️

The Pines Treehouse @ Treetops Hideouts

VictoriaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Absolutely wonderful stay at Treetops. From the moment you shut the gate you feel like the stresses of the outside world have disappeared! Everything has been thought of and more! We loved watching movies on the giant screen, playing darts on the deck and eating tapas whilst watching the cows in the field through the tree canopy. Lisa and Martin are on hand if you have a queries or need anything but you wouldn’t know anyone was nearby as the whole place is so secluded and private! We loved the outdoor shower, what a treat and enjoyed the hot tub even in the rain! If you are unsure of wondering if it’s worth the money, DON’T hesitate you will never regret it! A truly special place and you can see the effort in every detail!

High Hillways. A cosy cottage in a quiet village.

WayneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cosy little place set in the beautiful village of Gunnerside. Great views from right outside the door. Accommodation was perfect for 3 chaps who hired bikes to explore the surrounding area. We were able to store the bikes in a secure outhouse attached to the property. The accommodation had everything we needed and made for a pleasant stay. Went to the pub over the road which did great homemade food and some tasty real ales for a good price. Perfect for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.

We had such a great stay in this stunning cottage which is beautifully decorated to a very high spec. It has everything you could need and nothing is too much trouble for Leanne who is very quick to respond and helpful. The welcome hamper is exceptional and was so appreciated really helping to make us feel at home. Would 100% come back.

We had a lovely 5 nights stay at Riversong. The house had everything we needed and was in a great location with views of the upper falls and easy access to some great walks. The property was next door to a lovely tea shop and the kids especially enjoyed the ice cream after one of our hikes. We would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage.

Low Green Barn, located in Tranquil Teesdale

Tessa was the perfect host! From the moment she met us at the door, she set us up with everything we needed for a great stay. Thanks to her abundantly organised local knowledge, we managed to see and do a lot more than we anticipated. The converted Barn accommodation was extremely clean, cosy and comfortable and beautifully appointed with lots of personal touches that made us feel right at home not to mention the most comfortable bed and bath we had experienced in a long time! Thankyou Tessa, you helped us create some pretty special holiday memories and we are already talking about when we can come back again. Regards Catherine and Peter
