Simon is an exceptional host. He greeted us with a homemade dessert and took the time to show us his home, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. He was always available to help us with anything and gave us recommendations on places to visit in the area. His house is also unique: cozy and with a lot of personality, full of unique details in every corner. The location is also perfect, in a quiet area but a stone's throw from the village of Cariño. Sara is a very friendly host, who explained everything neatly. The cottage was equipped with all kinds of convenience. If we are in the area again, we will book with her again.

A very great location just outside, but if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be. I was there by bike, which I can't recommend. Because both to and from the accommodation, extreme gradients have to be overcome. Very nice and friendly host. The reception was very welcoming. The room is in her private house. But what had a family atmosphere for me. I think that's very good, even though we hardly saw each other. All in all, I highly recommend it.

Cozy traditional Galician house

Beautiful old farmhouse renovated efficiently and nestled in the Galician forest. A river (the Rio Sor, not visible from the house) passes below the path that leads to the house. Beautiful Esteiro beach (with waves of perfect size for safe fun) is a 25-minute drive. The area is beautiful. You feel perfectly good in this vast home and in the garden that surrounds it (there are even hammocks in the shade of the trees). There were five of us and there was no shortage of space at all. Everything works perfectly (WiFi, washing machine/dishwasher) and we lacked nothing, except perhaps a grounding on the electrical network (do not handle the dishwasher if you are barefoot...), but having spoken with the host, it is something that is planned. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic time staying in the old mill. Its extremely private, set in lovely woodland surroundings and was a great place for the kids to explore and parents to relax. Claudias recommendations were most welcome and we spent several days at the nearby beaches and exploring Galicias coastline. The house has everything you could need and more. We are already planning a return trip.

Very nice stay. The house is located in a gorgeous place. That if…, you depend on the car for everything but it is the “price” you have to pay for being in the enclave in which it is.
