Kid-friendly vacation rentals in County Wicklow

The wooly cottage is so peaceful and relaxing! Paul gave us clear directions to the house, and Trish welcomed us after we arrived. They also provided us with fresh eggs, bread and milk, which was very much appreciated! I loved walking out and seeing the flock of sheep across the street. It always put a smile on my face! I can't say enough positive things and highly recommend staying here!

A little treasure in Tinahely ~ The Irish House is a very cosy home from home stay. We are a family group of ten, ranging from nine years to seventy six years and we all loved our stay in Tinahely over New Years. The house had generous comfortable bedrooms, spotless clean shower rooms and the kitchen had every single thing you might need for cooking and entertaining. The sitting room is on the smaller side but was super cosy with the fire burner and extra bean bags. Perfect for family chats and relaxing. The pool table and dart board in Murphy’s hotel around the corner were great for family games and pints on a wet cold day. The food is good there too. O’Connors pub was also really cosy with lots of fairy lights and cosy atmosphere. Having two shops and two take aways on the street was fantastic. The kids were delighted to be able to dip in and out for treats. Beautiful area with nearby forest walks and scenic drives. Sonya was a very kind host and stayed in contact throughout our stay

Had a great few days here. Perfect for me and my family, very kid friendly and lots to do. John was a great host, very friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

What a gorgeous place to stay. Beautiful views surrounding the place. A nice, peaceful stay outside of the city. Cara was very helpful and responsive. The sauna was relaxing and a perfect way to end a day of trekking.

Wonderful welcome made us feel right at home. A central location easy to get to tourist attractions by car. Very comfortable with facilities for all your needs. Would love to come back again one day if lucky to travel here again.

We had a lovely stay in Charming and Àine was extremely accommodating with great communication and provided a lovely,thoughtful selection of welcome food to get us started. Everything is at your fingertips for cooking and bathroom needs should you need it - Àine's place is prepared for practically every eventuality and it is clear that a lot of thought goes into her hosting to meet each guests differing needs. This apartment was beautifully appointed with the highest quality kitchen utensils, furniture and bedding. The bed was heavenly - sooo comfortable and much better quality than you would usually get to enjoy! Everything was spotless and there were many little thoughtful additions including a yoga mat, throws on the couches, and great books. Karen's communications were helpful re. attractions to see in the area and accessing the apartment and returning keys was all very easy and straight forward. She was also available if we had any questions. Karen was friendly, professional and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect! We can not recommend highly enough. It is exceptional!

Karl's place was topnotch. It met my expectations apart from the struggle with Google maps to locate the entrance 😆. I drove so parking was as Karl had mentioned - very easy to park. The seafront, bars, shops and night life was amazing. I didn't feel far from home at all.

Great place to stay, close to Wicklow town. It's a nice walk into town or there are local taxis if you'd prefer. We loved how quiet the location is and how cosy it is with the fire on. Really lovely to have milk, orange juice, cereals, eggs and bread for breakfast so we were still set up for the day.

Staying in Sea Breeze in Bray was so enjoyable. I felt I was treated like family. I was there to unwind and relax. Angela, and Ian & their young family were there for anything you may need. The location is superb for all amenities. They are very close to transport, shops, and many restaurants. As for dogs, well I've had no complaint from my dog, it was like home from home. Angela & Ian run a good show, the place is very clean, tidy, but comfortable. It is well equipped with everything from kitchen utensils to TV, and radio, plus books to hand. They provides beautiful toiletries etc., for the extra large shower & private bathroom, incl towels. If it were a hotel, I would give it 7 star without a doubt. I definitely hope to be back someday as it way exceeded my expectations. Eileen WB

we had a wonderful time at this accommodation. everything was well-equiped, clean and very comfortable. the host was kind, helpful and flexible. i truly recommend for everyone who wants a great holiday in Bray. there is a bus stop in front of the court, so it was very easy to go to Dublin as well. we loved this place, thank you!

Convenient and perfectly furnished accommodation in a quiet area. Impeccable cleanliness and special touches for guests. Accommodation adjoining the owner's residence, but she is absolutely discreet. Numerous hikes and tours possible nearby.

Can’t say enough!! If I could give more stars I would !!! Ger was the kindest, most hospitable host we have ever encountered. He left a lovely welcome basket, which we thought was a lovely gesture and an added touch you don’t see often! The place was very cozy with beautiful views. Will definitely been booking with Ger on any and all future trips !

We had a wonderful stay. Riaan was attentive and helpful. The place was cozy and private. Loved the country setting. The bed was amazing, especially the electric bed warmer! We had a wonderful time during our honeymoon. We will definitely stay again when we go back to Ireland. Thank you, Riaan, for a lovely stay.

A beautiful little apartment in an even more beautiful location. Greeted by a very friendly host, who explained everything in great detail. A nice little apartment very suitable for a few days away. A few minor issues that I would advise the hosts to look into though. You have a beautiful TV in the apartment but the aerial wires dont reach it so nothing to watch! Obviously no fault of the hosts but the Internet is not great, and lastly the front door needs a little adjustment. Not very easy to lock. All in all though a nice little home away from home. Would recommend if you like peaceful countryside.

The space was absolutely spotless and comfortable. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. I would highly recommend!
