The cottage is stone built and has a lovely garden and orchard. A place to be still and enjoy the birdsong. It is a spacious, warm and welcoming cottage. Step away from the busy world for some peace and relaxation in this original cottage. It’s suitable for family holidays and friends get-togethers but not loud parties as it’s in a family community.

O'Rourkes Cottage Retreat Glenasmole

O'Rourkes cottage is situated in the picturesque valley of Glenasmole, nestled in the foothills of the Dublin mountains overlooking Dublin city. The cottage has 2 bedroom, sitting room and kitchen with a woodland garden. Ideally situated to enjoy the the Dublin Wicklow mountains . The cottage includes central heating, wood burning stove, cooker, electric shower. We are now operating a minimum two night stay. Numerous family-friendly activities and scenic walks are located close by. 10 minutes’ drive to both Arklow & Wicklow Town centres which host a number of major supermarkets. 40 minutes drive from Dublin.

Our premium, adult only (18+) glamping facility is located in the heart of the Wicklow mountains, only 200 metres from the Wicklow Way. We are just 50 minutes from Dublin, and accessible by bus. Our unique location provides rural seclusion whilst being within a 500m stroll of local shops, pubs, restaurants and public transport.

Situated in the unspoiled village of Ballymore Eustace just a couple hundred yards to 3 pubs, a world class restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, a takeaway and 2 markets, the location couldn't be more convenient. Dublin is an easy 35 minute drive, Glendalough under 30 minute and many nearby golf courses this is a great location to explore Irelands ancient east and the Wicklow mountains.

You will be staying in the garden of Ireland in Wicklow. The horse racing centre of Ireland is in nearby Kildare within a short drive. There are several Golf courses within easy reach. The capital city Dublin is within an easy bus ride. Locally, a drive or walk at Blessington lakes is a must or a visit to Rusborough House.

Cottage 3- The Chicken Coop

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place at the home of 90 alpacas. K2 Cottages Farmhouse and Farmyard are nestled in a hollow on the farm. The cottages replaced seven 7x original outbuildings and take their names from the building they replaced. We’ve used the granite, stones and slates from the original buildings in the new cottages. These cottages are very comfortable and are an ideal location to set up base to explore all that Wicklow has to offer

Located in a quite peaceful rural setting, this is a serene spot to get away from it all. Particularly suitable for families, couples, singles & nature lovers. Good WiFi for remote working. Its an hour from Dublin. The main bedroom has a king bed and a single fold out bed is available on request. In the lounge room there is a comfortable double sofa bed. Perfect for family getaways as it is close to great beaches and walks. Not suitable for partying.
