Rustic Glamping Caravan - BUTTERCUP

The caravan was so much fun to stay in and the whole property was peaceful and beautiful. Everything was clean and we were even able to purchase some firewood to have a small fire.

The Lawn Yurt

TheresaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed in 2 yurts. 2a+2c in one, and my son stayed with 3 friends in the Walled Garden Yurt. We were celebrating his 18th Birthday. This was our 3rd visit and it's just as beautiful as it was the first time we visited. The yurts were clean and beautifully decorated inside. Each yurt has a gas heater, a seating area and a firepit. There's a communal kitchen that has everything you could possibly need (even hot water bottles). The bathrooms were clean and the kids playroom was a huge hit with my 2 girls (7 and 8). My son and his friends liked the privacy of their yurt and all had a great time. We used the large firepit, BBQ and dining area everynight. It's a peaceful location and was safe for my 2 to run around and play on the swings and slide. The hosts are very friendly and attentive and we will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay :-)

Christophers place was perfect in every way. My family stayed here the night before my sister's wedding in Lisnavagh and it was ideal. Plenty of space and amenities and Christopher was a great host. Highly recommend

From the time we arrived, the owners were out and we had great conversations. They booked us a table a lot Johnny foxes which was a 3 min walk down the road. Great hiking behind the property and of course, fun to feed the donkeys. Lots of food and drinks upon checking. Highly recommend

Swallows Rest

QiRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The apartment on the second floor is suitable for families, clean and tidy, quiet and beautiful, the owner's guide is clear, and it is easy to drive in. The disadvantage is that when we checked in, the bathroom drain didn't work well, and the bath water would overflow onto the back of the feet... it shouldn't be difficult to solve, I hope you can pay attention to it...

UNIQUE AND CHARMING STONE COTTAGE

AlexanderRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This is a great, magical and friendly place to stay. One of the best AirBNB experiences we ever had. Even though its a bit tricky to find, on a small and steep path through the woods, communication with Ciaran was good and instructions clear. You arrive in a magnificent oasis, to a beautifully decorated and very clean cottage, with superfriendly owners. There is a peacock that answers when you whistle, baby gooslings, chickens you can feed, a dog to play with, donkeys to pet, a private footpath through the woods along a trickling stream… whats not to love? We can highly recommend this cottage. Its worth every penny!

Romantic Family Friendly Wicklow Retreat

LilaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We LOVED our stay in this amazing home and this beautiful area of Ireland. We flew in from LA. It was walking distance to the nearest pub and a great crowd, very friendly. The closest cities were about a 7-10 minute drive and there was so much to see within an hour's drive of this home. I really would recommend staying at Aoife's beautiful home. We even stayed in and relaxed some days and it was perfection.

The Loft

JulieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at Josie’s loft. It was nice to be in the peaceful countryside and wake up to a beautiful view. Their dogs were also very sweet. Josie and Kevin were great hosts and were there to answer any questions we had and they gave us amazing recommendations of things to do in the area. If we ever have the chance to visit Ireland again, we would love to stay in their loft.

Clara Vale Farm House Retreat

Richard Whitney Rating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a lovely hostess. The simplicity of the place is so refreshing. Leah is the precious salt of the earth human being. No pretenses...just a beautiful, hard working individual who is deeply thankful for her place in life and is patiently doing her best to improve what she has , everyday. A privilege to stay here and an even greater privilege to meet this young lady. The presence of the donkeys simply made my day. The bleating of goats was so refreshing. The view of the hills and the valleys from the donkey gate is a reminder of what is really important in life. If you want to slow life down, rethink your path , this is a quiet place to do that. Thank you Leah. Richard and Loo

Renovated Cottage with Sea Views on Private Estate

UweRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at Max’s place – not only because of the lovely cottage and peaceful setting, but also because Max is a truly exceptional host. From the beginning, he was patient, fair, and incredibly thoughtful in helping us navigate a difficult situation before arrival. Thanks to his clear communication and flexibility, our holiday was saved – and we’re deeply grateful for that. The cottage itself is quiet, cosy, well-equipped and perfectly located to explore the region. We felt comfortable and welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommended – both the place and the host. Thank you again, Max!

SarahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had such a wonderful stay! Our toddler loved seeing the animals, especially the lambs and the two beautiful dogs. It was really a dream holiday! The beach is lovely and there are plenty of nice places to go - castles, pubs etc. Felicity gave us lots of recommendations and both Felicity and Stephen were so friendly and kind. The house is really well equipped, very clean, and feels like home. Even some swings outside! Can't recommend enough!

Sophia and her family were amazing and went above expectations. Super helpful and kind, helped tremendously when car broke down and literally saved us a world of trouble. Could not recommend them highly enough for everything. If I could rate 20 stars instead of 10 I 100% would.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is really large and felt like home to us, it was very nice to come home to after a long day of hiking. Tom is an amazing and friendly host. We were welcomed with some nice food and clear instructions for the house and tips for the area. The kitchen has everything you need, and what I really liked is that there was already stuff like herbs, tea and coffee to use. The view from the house is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring the Wicklow Mountains area. Also during the stay, Tom was always ready to help if we had questions. All in all, a perfect holiday, it exceeded our expectations.

**Absolutely Perfect Stay at Ann-Marie’s Cottage!** From the moment we arrived, Ann-Marie was amazing! She went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our stay comfortable, relaxing, and memorable!! She was incredibly helpful and accommodating—her warm hospitality made us feel right extremely welcomed! The cottage itself is absolutely stunning! Every detail was thoughtfully curated, and the space was perfect for our big family! But what truly took my breath away were the grounds and garden—so peaceful and beautifully maintained, it felt like stepping into a hidden paradise!!! Truly! We spent hours just soaking in the tranquility and beauty of the garden! I cannot recommend this property enough!!

Sophie was a very proactive and responsive host. We had a lovely time staying at her beautiful house - hard to beat views on a sunny day with the Irish Sea out front and the sugar loaf mountain at the back! The kitchen and dining area is very well appointed and opens in a beautiful garden and raised terrace. Short drive into Greystones and very quick access to the M11.

A peaceful, spacious and romantic artist's home

CatherineRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Abbeydown surpassed our expectations. The home is located up a private country road making for a quiet peaceful setting with lovely views. We enjoyed daily walks down the road with our dog and took walks from there throughout the countryside. The grounds are beautiful with gorgeous birdsong and sheep grazing on the distant hills. The house is very comfortable to live in and lovingly decorated with Michael's beautiful murals on the walls. Peter could not have been more helpful and delightful and we were greeted with eggs from local hens and fresh home baked bread. We took a tour at the nearby Huntington Castle with Peter as our guide and I highly recommend it. Altamont Gardens is also a must if you enjoy beautiful gardens. If you are looking for a restful, peaceful get-a-way, this is the place for you. Thank you Michael and Henrietta!

Daisy’s Rest

What a treasure. A quiet country home, easy couple of minutes from Redcross where you will find a couple nice pubs and restaurants. Everyone friendly as can be. House itself was incredible - clean, functional, and with very clear host instructions on the WiFi, ordering the local cab (we recommend this, the driver was timely and fun.) Slept nice and quiet, comfortable, and the private bar is a real fun treat if you plan to stay in. Host met us, showed us around, and was immediately responsive before and after the stay. Nice as can be - this stay was everything I love about AirBnB. If you'll be in the area, stay with James and Grace.

Woodcutter's Cottage, The Perfect Retreat

Sendy YeceniaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had an amazing stay at Woodcutter's Cottage! The house is incredibly spacious and comfortably fit our group of 8. Surrounded by beautiful nature and with a stunning view, it was the perfect escape from the city. We especially loved the outdoor area, doing a BBQ with the sound of the nearby stream was so peaceful, we also had a great time playing the piano! The cottage is very well equipped, and all the rooms were cozy and comfortable. You can really tell a lot of care has gone into making it feel like a home away from home. James was a fantastic host, very friendly and responsive, and check-in was super smooth. Emma also gave us some great local tips on nearby tracks and villages to explore, which made our stay even more special. And to top it all off, they left us a delicious pie on arrival, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a getaway in nature with all the comforts of home. We’d definitely love to come back!
