Great location. Walking distance from shops and historical sites. The house has been very much decluttered from the pictures which was nice. Enjoyed our stay in this unique town.

This was a nice accommodation in a quiet and safe neighborhood, conveniently located by the castle grounds and village. Eithne and Gerry were very hospitable, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were pleased to have stayed here.

Peaceful location with a beautiful view of the waterfront. The home was cozy with plenty of space.

I stayed for 4 nights with my elderly parents, fantastic that everything is on one level. Loads of space, comfortable beds. Everything we needed was there. We were lucky to have sunny days but if needed plenty of games books, music to choose from. Great family time was had. We didn’t even miss not having a TV. Great WiFi. Highly recommend. Hopefully it won’t be long before I can book again.

From start to finish Niamh made herself available for advice or help. A beautiful property in a beautiful location. The local restaurants were awesome and easily walkable. Great public transport into Dublin or other towns. We can't recommend this place enough.

The cottage is lovely, the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. If you're looking for a nice peaceful and quiet getaway then I would recommend it. Not walkable into Carlingford but it's quite a short drive. My first time staying somewhere so remote and I did enjoy it

Lovely home, very safe and secure for families with young kids. Catherine was very welcoming and had things outside from her own kids that she allowed ours to play with. kids loved it here. Very clean and newly decorated home. would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Laneside Haven. We booked VERY last minute due to a family bereavement but Serenus ensured everything was ready for us including milk, porridge and some gorgeous scones which went down a treat as we arrived very late after a long day travelling. The house was spotless, warm and homely and there were even toys and books for my little boy! Serenus had leaflets of activities to do nearby as well a list of restaurants/takeaways which came in handy as we didn’t know the area. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come again! Thank you so much Serenus.

Sharon is an excellent host, her house was beautiful and exactly as seen on pictures. We (two couples with young kids) stayed for two nights and Sharon met us at check in, shes very warm and welcoming and recommended some great places to eat. Sharon also left us a welcome basket with treats which kiddies were trilled about. The house was spotless and located in a beautiful area, ideal as a base for day trips ie. to Emerald Park or visit to the north. We wished we stayed for bit longer and will be back for sure! Highly recommend this host.
