Cabin vacation rentals in County Durham

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful part of the country. The cabin had everything we needed and was spotless clean. The hot tub was great and the option to add a sauna session is highly recommended, the views are amazing! The stay is perfect for relaxation. Anthony was very responsive and gave us some nice tips for local outings through their online guide. He also showed us how to operate the woodfire hot tub with the provided logs, which was very helpful. The only issue we had was how close the cabins were to each other. Our "neighbours" didn't abide by the rule of no outside music and played rave songs on loud, spoiling the advertised tranquility a bit but this was not the host's fault. We would definitely come again but will try to book a quieter time of the year or ask for a cabin at the very end of the site.

Wonderful stay at ‘the hideaway’. Very very clean. Cannot fault at all. Super helpful hosts. Will definitely reccomend to friends and family. The access to the facilities at the spa is also a great extra, I don’t think the pictures on here actually do the pool / sauna area justice! Towels and robes provided also which just made everything easier. Thank you!

Myself and my partner booked this as a well needed getaway! We couldn’t recommend this place enough. It was a weekend of tranquility and peace and quiet, with plenty of pubs and lovely places to visit near by. Everything was clean, well maintained and the communication with the host and employees was very helpful. If you’re looking for a place to get away, relax and rejuvenate then this is the place to be! Amazing place to stay, 100% worth visiting ! Pods were unreal and me and partner had so much fun , this trip was apart of his birthday present and the hosts decorated our room which I thought was a lovely special touch as I didn’t request , thankyou so much !

Lovely Glamping Pod! Brilliantly kitted out and very modern. You need to drive past the sat nav destination by about 300 yards if coming from north to south. The cafe was brilliant and did an amazing fresh breakfast with high quality ingredients. The bed was very comfy too and the facilities were all very modern. Wireless Bluetooth speakers which played from the ceiling as an example. The downside was the door between the bedroom and sitting area wouldn’t close and I didn’t like the fact you had to change your own bin the next morning. I would recommend though it was really nice and a brilliant, peaceful location. It’s more like staying in a luxury apartment with a glamping feel. The communication was excellent too. Also very understanding when I had to cancel first time. Full refund no questions asked. Would defo go back!

We have just got home and have had the best two nights. The kids loved the cosy dome tent and the gym, as well as waking up to horses on the fields opposite. We loved the fact that there was a green area in the middle that was a lovely space for the kids to play and we could still see them. The pods have everything you need- I’ve never stayed in any with such good cooking and shower facilities!
