Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in County Donegal

We had a fantastic time staying at Shelia's place (The Snug). Situated in the quiet village of Dunkineely located between Donegal Town and Killybegs, the accommodation is the ideal base to explore this part of Donegal. The enclosed large garden, which has a wonderful view over the bay, was perfect for our dog Molly. The people of the village were very friendly, there is a Mace 1 min walk away should you need anything and you'll receive a warm welcome (dogs too !!) in Macs Bar if you fancy a pint. We didn't need to contact the host during our stay as we had no problems and everything about the place was perfect. My only complaint is we didn't stay longer. We plan to make a return visit.

everything was spotles especially the house thanks to his amazing wife . the jacuzzi was a bonus and was great to relax. graham was very helpful telling me the best places to go around their for food and entertainment. will definitely be back again. was such a bargain 😊

Danny was always quick to reply, very flexible when we e.g. asked for an additional blanket. The only thing where he could improve is to provide more dishes and kitchen hardware. We stayed there with 4 people, but only had 3 bowls, the rest was mainly limited to 4 pieces each, but a few more dishes wouldn't hurt so that the dishwasher that is available can actually be more full. There were also only 2 pots available. Everything else was great, just some small ideas to further improve.

To say this was just a b&b stay is an understatement. These people made us feel like part of the family, they even went above and beyond with their hosting. I felt so safe and welcomed in their home meeting their family and dogs lol. We will definitely be back!! Love from The Loughran family xx

Spacious “Elvis themed” apartment. A lot of room for the two of us. Large kitchen and comfortable bed. Washer and dryer were easy to use and an added bonus for us. We highly recommend the place and would stay again.

Excellent base for our travels and explorations of Donegal. The kitchen was perfect for making breakfast and several dinners when we chose to eat in. We spent the first two days in Letterkenny and could easily walk and taxi around town. We hired a rental car for the second half of the week and it was very helpful to have access to a driveway and private parking. Great location and we would definitely aim to stay here on our next visit!

Lovely stay. Quiet street only minutes walk from the Main Street. House was warm and comfortable.

Emma’s place is in a great location at the top of the town’s Main Street within easy walking distance of all the main amenities including several pubs, restaurants and supermarkets. Perfectly placed for touring the wider area. We were just two people but there are two well appointed double bedrooms making it good value for a larger family group. There is an adjacent similar property which was empty. If both were full, car parking on the road outside is feasible. We had a few initial queries to which Emma responded almost immediately. She was extremely helpful. The house was extremely well stocked with essentials including tea, coffee, sugar, condiments, cooking oil, toiletries, kitchen roll etc which was another big plus.

Just what we needed after two days of roadtriping. Wonderful, peaceful place. We stayed two nights to really unwind. John was an excellent host. Would happily stay again. -Joseph

Of all the places we have stayed over our 3 weeks in Ireland, Denis's place was the best. Situated in the countryside not far from Letterkenny, the house was extremely comfortable for our group of 6. We explored Donegal during the day and spent our evenings relaxing in this fantastic space. Everything was great. We were curious about turf fires and Denis was kind enough to drop some off for us to burn in the fireplace. It was fabulous!! Overal Denis ia a great host. Oh, and if you stay here, be sure to visit Wilkin's Bar and Lounge just down the road in Church Hill near the house. They are great people and serve up fine comfort food.

We had a lovely time staying at The Artist's Cottage for 6 nights. Ardara is only a short drive and the cottage was an excellent base for exploring Co Donegal and a foray to Derry. The cottage was superbly well equipped for cooking and Catherine had generously provided plenty of herbs, spices and oils, and the chocolates were also much appreciated by our party. We were very lucky to enjoy unbroken sunshine during our stay but regardless of the weather conditions we'd be delighted to return again. Thank you Catherine for hosting us.

Jill and Alistair could not have been better hosts. From initial booking inquiry through checkout, they were incredibly helpful, responsive, friendly, and went the extra mile without any prompt. Directions to the stay were crystal clear, the property is immaculate, beautiful, private, and well located for the exploration of Finad and all of Donegal. Rathmullan is a wonderful town, and I can not recommend enough a stay with Jill, and Alistair, and especially their wonderful dogs. Alistair was extra helpful in navigating the area, providing recommendations, asking for feedback, and saving a few strokes up at Portsalon Golf Club. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay well within reach of some of Ireland's most beautiful drives, landmarks, and scenery, this is the place to be. We have travelled quite a bit over the last few years, and this stay was the best we have experienced due to not only location, but the hospitality of Jill and Alistair. A review of 5 stars is too few.

Fantastic location and very picturesque. The views from every window is just beautiful. The house is spacious and very comfortable and we have a fab week staying there and would definitely look forward to a return visit. The host was very friendly and responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Overall a fabulous stay in a wonderful house.

we had a fantastic stay at Karen and John's place in Ardara. location was perfect for exploring Ardara and its surrounds. Karen warmly welcomed us and left provisions for breakfast, a really nice touch. highly recommend Karen and John's place in Ardara.

Beautiful apartment. Comfortable with a touch of glamour. Well equipped. Stunning location. Amazing views. Two great restaurants within walking distance: The Red Door & The Railway tavern. Shauna was a very good host. Helpful & friendly. Clear instructions and info eg directions, check in etc. Would happily stay again.

We immediately felt extremely comfortable! The cottage is beautiful, well equipped, nestled in the beautiful countryside, exudes enormous tranquility. Damian is the best host you could wish for: friendly, generous, responsive to all wishes - like with friends! The view all around is balm for the soul. The location allows many wonderful excursions in all directions. The cottage was cozy, very new, modern and rebuilt and expanded with a lot of care by Damian himself. Everything was super clean. The beds are comfortable. The heating warmed pleasantly. The outdoor terrace is awesome. Washer and dryer a plus. Check in was very easy. Thank you for all the gifts, milk, eggs, bread, coffee, butter, … even sugar-free jam. Looking forward to seeing you again!

Pictures on site don't do this place justice. It is fabulous. Much bigger than I thought it would be and so pristine. Very very comfortable, very quiet and everything u could want for a break away. 3 nights in December wasnt enough, but Perfect base for wedding in Donegal town. Wondering now if I will book a summer break in Donegal just to stay here again. Liz😍

My stay at The Snug was wonderful. It was in a great location both to town and also to explore other parts of Co. Donegal. Claire and Brendan were easy to contact and very friendly. They had great recommendations for food in the area, and had a handbook full of recommendations for activities for the area. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

John’s space is perfect for a short break, set against the majestic views of Lough Swilly and the renowned Portsalon beach, which is within walking distance. Myself, my wife and our 2 boys enjoyed our time here immensely.

The loft with elevated views of the open fields and inch island was superb and very private. Check in was easy and we were greeted by the host who put out fresh flowers and was so inviting and friendly. Nothing was out of place and the spacious loft had everything. Great spot for tranquil walks of the Inch Reserve walk and easily driving to explore the spectacular Inishowen coastline and Donegal area.
