Eagle's Nest Apartment

TrinaRating, 5 stars11 months ago
What a wonderful place, thoroughly enjoyed my Stay in Leitir and already planning to go back. Anne's place is a great location to explore North and Sputh Donegal or just to stay in one place in the gorgeous surroundings. Dooey beach is gorgeous and the Wild Atlantic Way Sauna a wonderful find. Pop in to see Packie for a Pint and feel like a local, don't forget cash and to sign the visitor book. Friday Trad Music in Elliots a must see and the food in McCaffreys is delicious. Eagles nest has a menagerie of animals, say hello to Bob the Horse, he love Pears 😉, and the dog Bonny and the chickens are also happy to see visitors. Anne was a wonderful host and went above to ensure our stay was enjoyable, I'll definitely be returning

We were warmly welcomed in Philip and Carmel's beautiful home. Their hospitality is amazing and being open, friendly and cheerful they made us feel at home right from the start. The house is situated in beautiful rural surroundings, but not far from shops and restaurants. It is a great spot for exploring Donegal. To us Philip and Carmel's house is definitely is a place to return to and stay when visiting Ireland.

Portsalon Holiday House with Hot Tub

HelenRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Exactly as described, really helpful and responsive host, especially as we were travelling with teenagers and their very elderly grandparents, so close to the amazing Portsalon beach, great outside space for kids to play football and run around and play with our dog, hot tub was really clean, spacious and perfect temperature, decor and room configuration exactly as described....highly recommend for a remote and peaceful holiday.

The family here was very kind, and the room was clean. Whenever I had any questions, they kindly helped me. Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely—I truly felt like a member of their family. On sunny days, we even went for drives to the beach together. It became an unforgettable memory in my life. Thank you so much.

Just brilliant. The house was great. The outside space was amazing. Really well thought through and setup. Something for everyone. The garden leading to the beach with the little hut down the bottom made it. Will without a doubt be back.

Kitty's Cottage

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The location is excellent, within walking distance to 2 pubs, the Caislean Oir Hotel (good food), Dannie Minnie's (outstanding food), a couple of takeaways (Pizza at Top Pizza is excellent) and a handy grocery store. It is an excellent base to explore Donegal, within plenty of beaches, tourist spots and scenic drives nearby. The cottage itself is well equipped, with a modern new kitchen, washing machine, air fryer, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, pots and pans, glasses etc. The homemade scones, milk, butter and jam was a very welcome treat! Central heating was responsive and hot. TV with Netflix app was great for chilling out in the evenings. The living room sofa is very comfortable. 3 double bedrooms with clean, fresh linens and a generous amount of towels and plenty of wardrobe space. The hairdryer was also a convenient bonus. Off street, private parking. The cottage was set back from the road which meant it was safe and quiet. We would most certainly return :)

Stone Cottage By The River

JRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The surprise of stepping down from the traditional entrance/sitting room of this beautiful old cottage, into the split level, incredibly well developed kitchen/family room via a couple of original railway sleepers, could be rather likened to an innovative transition from monochrome into a vista of 'optimal colour'. The craftsmanship of its tiling et al, and which continues in the bathrooms, is absolutely spot-on. And that wealth of space seems to go on forever. Well, someone resisted temptations of the rainfall showers, as they'd left their drying brush behind. Really badly misjudged as there was plenty of alternative rainfall, and without respite ! Even the river was raging as a consequence throughout those last days. A simply terrific home and stay Marc and Josephine, thank you - and yes, we'd very much like to return, if we may.

Home with wonderful views for 6 (up to 8) people

MaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Elizabeth's home is amazing. Exceeded expectations. The home is lovely and the view is a million dollar view - 180 degree view of part of Dunfanaghy Bay. Could sit all day in the comfy chairs looking out and watching the tide come in and out. A wonderful spot on Horn Head. Up-to-date bathrooms/showers, washer and dryer, dishwasher, and kitchen stocked. Convenient to town and road tripping through Donegal. We didn't want to leave. This home was a perfect ending to our month long trip in Ireland. Do not hesitate to book this home.
