Our beautiful guest house is surrounded by stunning countryside - just waiting to be walked or cycled. It comfortably sleeps two (but has a travel cot for little ones) with an open plan kitchen and cosy living area, plus bathroom. Outside is a sunny garden area with table and seating. The space is really light with lots of windows and oak features. Lots of thought and love have gone into decor to make it a really lovely space. The apartment is separate from the main house and very private.

Downstairs, well equipped kitchen-diner, shower room/toilet. 10-15min walk to Nailsworth centre with many eateries. Unfortunately unsuitable for those with mobility issues due to stairs/low pitched ceiling.

Modern Hayloft in Cotswolds

The hayloft is very old but we have converted it into a 2 bed suite (one double bed & one big round bed on the mezzanine) with a 'shed bathroom' and a large lounge. It is on top of part of our own house (above the kitchen) but has a separate private entrance and a door onto the garden. There is no kitchen facility - think hotel rooms rather than self catering! It is right in the heart of the village a couple of hundred metres from good restaurants, ancient pubs and independent shops.

The Grade II Listed cottage is 300-350 years old with bags of character and authentic charm. It is very comfortable in the snug with its own wood burner and other original features. Go to sleep hearing the owls and wake up to the birds singing. Make breakfast and drink a cup of tea in the garden. There are beautiful walks right on the doorstep including a lake very close by. We quite often see deer from our house.

If I could give this place 20 stars and stay there forever I absolutely would. The photos are beautiful but being there in person is absolutely enchanting. The gardens, the decor, the outside dining area, and the little stream behind the garden…everything just felt like being in a storybook. Katrina has a great manual in the house that provides tons of local recommendations including sites, restaurants, walks, gardens, etc. we went to the Hidcote garden and the Barnsley Manor which were both a pleasant drive from Gloucestershire.

We had a wonderful few days stay in this cute place, made to feel really welcome (especially enjoying the brownies!). All our needs had been catered for, Kate and Will were wonderful hosts and the location was perfect for us to visit everywhere on our list! Absolutely loved the three friendly dogs who gave us such a greeting every time we came back and the very affectionate cat who escorted us to our front door each time! We were very comfortable in our accommodation and would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone. We have returned home now feeling refreshed and relaxed and hope to return again in the future. Our stay was incredible. It was quiet, peaceful with beautiful views from the treehouse. The kitchen was so well equipped which made cooking meals so much fun! We also got so many recommendations on what to do around the area and every single place we stopped by did not disappoint. Everything was extremely neat and clean, and we loved the way the space was decorated. Overall a 10/10 experience, would definitely be back!!

Staying at the spring cabin was utterly magical. A little slice of heaven. Snuggled away from the hustle and bustle it offered the peace and rest my partner and I had been looking for. The cabin itself is gorgeous, the interior design and decoration is thoughtful, rustic and harmonious. Sarah is a fantastic and friendly host. We felt right at home and she was there to greet us when we checked in. I can’t recommend the spring cabin enough. We will be back! We even made friends with the cat Mr Tumnus and Elsie the dog.
