Super bel endroit avec vue sur le fleuve. Très grande maison chaleureuse, très propre et accueillante. Borne de recharge pour véhicule électrique, très apprécié (aurions aimé le savoir avant d'arriver mais c'est tout de même super). Seul bémol, on ne peut pas prendre de marche sans prendre la voiture, la maison est sur la 138, mais ce n'est rien.

I would highly recommend Derrick and Rachel’s Airbnb for anyone visiting the west coast of Newfoundland! This is my second time staying at this place and it is in an amazing location, right next to the golf course and only a short drive to the ski hill. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating, and even provided complimentary snacks and a bottle of wine!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at the chalet. It is the perfect size for two people to spend a week long getaway from work. Five stars across the board. The chalet was well maintained and spotless. It looks exactly like the photos. The area is very peaceful and located right next to a river. Eric answered all my questions in a timely manner while also being very polite. Would definitely book with him again!

We had an amazing stay, the house is spotless, the beds are a total dream, probably the most comfy sleep I’ve had in a while. Views are gorgeous from the patio and perfect jump off to Gros Morne and Rocky Harbour. Highly recommend hiking Tablelands, Western Brook Pond and green gardens. We also loved the lobster rolls at buoy and arrow. Yvonne was very easy to get a hold of and home has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area ❤️💕

Une pépite!!! Un chalet avec tout ce qu’il faut dedans et dehors pour passer un super séjour. Et David est très accueillant et serviable (il nous a bien aidé à nous sortir d’une petite galère). L’emplacement au bord de la rivière en fait un parfait petit havre de paix. Nous avons hâte d’y revenir!

Wir haben uns im Chalet sehr wohl gefühlt und können es nur empfehlen! Perfekt für alle, die etwas abgeschiedener entspannen wollen aber trotzdem nicht auf den Comfort eines schönen Badezimmers mit Regendusche und eine gute Küche verzichten wollen! Die Unterkunft eignet sich zum Ausruhen am Privatstrand auf einem langen Road Trip, aber bietet auch die Möglichkeit für Tagesausflüge, zB zum Parc Nationale de la Gaspésie.

Le charme de la cabane (toute équipée!) au coeur de l’hiver, l’environnement boisé, au centre des érables, à 20mn du Bic, 30mn de Rimouski, la gentillesse de Guylaine et Jacques qui se souciaient de notre confort et qui nous ont deneigé tous les jours... beaucoup de jolies choses et de joie à la cabane d’la Bonaventure.

The whole family felt right at home. The place was ideal, even better then expected. Very quiet and peaceful, a great time to relax. Although there isn't a lot of attractions for younger kids near by, there is always something within a 1h drive. It's a 45 min ride to go the magnificent Pohenegamook lake with lots of fun and games at the beach. We will be coming back for sure.

We had the BEST weekend gathering with friends from Maine, New Brunswick and Quebec. Everything was as described, and the space was perfect for a large group. We especially loved the themed bedrooms, indoor hang out area, outdoor spaces and private, not rocky, swimming area. We walked to eat at the brewery (1 min away) and had amazing food and service. Overall, this chalet is stunning and had everything we needed and more for an amazing weekend! We are thinking about making this a yearly trip! :)

Lovely chalet, it was clean and warm and my family felt at home. Beds and bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was great for cooking for a crowd. Paul was very responsive when we had any questions. The propane fireplace had issues so he immediately gave us the hot tub rental for free. Absolutely satisfied and look forward to staying here again next year!

We had an amazing time at Patrick's place! It's a perfect spot for spending quality time with friends or family. The area is incredibly calm and quiet, with a private lake that's great for kayaking and paddle boarding. The house was very clean and comfortable, and it had everything we needed. Patrick was a fantastic host—super friendly, he explained everything clearly and even gave us great tips on nearby places to visit in Temiscouata. Highly recommend!
