Our 'Garden Retreat' is a tranquil, elegantly furnished cottage overlooking a sunken garden. The accommodation has a bedroom (queen-sized bed), a fully-equipped kitchen, a sitting area with a sleeper-sofa, and a small office mezzanine. The garden is large with multiple places to sit and enjoy the shade or the sun. The Loire River itself is only 150 yards from the flat. Large individuals take note: the shower is a standard 67cm x 67cm. Although we love pets; but we have a one pet only policy.

Our host was particularly welcoming and was able to advise us on local activities. The accommodation is located in a small quiet village set back from the road. It is functional, pleasant and has 2 large bedrooms and is decorated with a very nice garden. We had a short but very pleasant stay. We recommend this property.

Mill, heated indoor pool

A unique and captivating 16th century mill. An extremely tasteful restoration and furnishings to make you feel at home...the layout was exceptional for extended family of twelve, including 5 teenagers. We noted pool towels were unavailable even though towels were listed as being provided and limited soap and toilet rolls so supplies had to be found in town. We enjoyed a memorable raclette dinner using the 3 machines provided! Unfortunately, the oven was out of service when we arrived and for the duration of our stay and the hot water and hydronic heating also failed during our stay so that was a bit disappointing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our couple of nights at Gregoire and Ana's home. Beautifully renovated by themselves, it was a great space for the three of us. Great location with a boulangerie fir fresh baguettes just a few minutes away. We would love to come back.

What needs to be said about staying in a chateau?! Incredible experience for our family, very cool to be able to stay somewhere people come to tour. We really liked it and found it quite comfortable. The suite was very large - like an entire home. The internet and cell reception were intermittent, so touching base back home or accomplishing any work was difficult/impossible. But the experience is something I can certainly recommend!
