Grace's house was a real treat! Nestled away in the trees overlooking the river made it feel so private and peaceful. The house itself was so cosy, clean and inviting but had plenty of space and different areas to relax. The grounds were amazing and the kids had a ball discovering the swings, hottub and reading shed. The whole place was magical and we were sad to leave. Grace was very responsive to any communication and made us feel so welcome. The house location was a great base for some of the stunning sights Donegal has to offer and we were very close to many beautiful sandy beaches. This house was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! Right from the second we hit the lane I was in love, beautifully kept grounds and amazing driveway. I didn't have the chance to meet Robyn as she was busy doing clean up after that horrible storm but I had the pleasure of meeting her lovely mummy Dawn. Dawn explained everything to me very clearly including instructions on hot tub, heating and of course about the lovely wee village. I could have chatted to her all night and she even brought 2 gorgeous dogs to greet us which made my stay better. I would totally recommend staying here especially if you love forestry and lakes. Omg the shower is amazing too. You deffo have to use it 😂. The worst part of this trip was having to leave. I absolutely loved it. Everything was just perfect. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked our next visit before we left. Highly recommend Sea View for a peaceful and relaxing break away, and thoroughly enjoyed by our dog, too, with a safe enclosed garden. The hot tub was the icing on the cake.

It is a beautiful location. House is cosy and comfy. Good location to recharge your batteries and enjoy quality time.

A lovely stay in Mairead and Hugh’s beautiful cottage! The house is utterly gorgeous – comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen and a lovely, cosy, rustic vibe. The interior decor is stunning with lots of thoughtful touches like the giant claw foot bathtub and the big fluffy pillows. The view from the garden is phenomenal and we spent a lovely evening in the hot tub watching the sun go down! Mairead and Hugh were the perfect hosts – helpful when we needed them but never invasive, and the homemade wheaten bread and jam that was waiting for us was a lovely welcoming touch! All in all a perfect stay and we can’t wait to come back some time.

We had a wonderful three-day stay at Mary’s place! The surroundings are beautiful, and the location is convenient with great access to the town. The price was very reasonable for everything that was offered. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, the hot tub and sauna made our trip so much more enjoyable — they turned rainy days into relaxing afternoons. Sitting by the dock with a cup of hot tea, watching the water, was one of the most peaceful moments of our stay. Thank you, Mary, for providing such a cozy and lovely getaway!

Monica and Michelle were extremely welcoming and friendly. They got us set up in the cabin and feeling right at home. You couldn't pick a nicer spot, and it was made all the better by the friendly welcome! The cabin was clean and homely, had everything we needed, and set in beautiful grounds surrounded by things to do. Would highly recommend a stay with such lovely hosts! It's a shame we weren't staying longer! I could have laid in the hammock for a week! We are touring around the Wild Atlantic Way, and this has been a perfect spot for us to rest. Everything was perfect, nice jacuzzi, very spacious house, everything what you need to stay included (pans, pots, cups..), very clean inside. One thing what wasn’t perfect was smell from cows farm which is very close to house (not whole day, just from time to time), if somebody don’t have a problem with that and like “country side vibes) I’ll say its 10/10 👍

We stayed at Margaret's family farm the last 4 days of our 12 day trip. it was truly beautiful, peaceful, and terrific for finishing up an amazing trip. Margaret and her brother William are gracious hosts and full of ideas for day trips in the area, should you wish to explore. Her farm is just lovely and horses, as well as her dogs Jess and Max are friendly. Highly recommend this location for a peaceful and fulfilling vacation with a terrific central location in Ireland!! A+++

My brother and myself were paying a visit to relatives who live in the area..we found Sheila’s air B&B to be very accommodating..very homely ..warm ..private ..as my brother described it to being like “ home from home “.accommodation was very clean and well equipped .We could not find fault at all . We met Sheila before departing and had a lovely friendly chat and discovered she knew our relatives . We would definitely use this accommodation again if it met our requirement dates .

Beautiful cottage. Well presented and had all amenities. Excellent hosts, who left wine and cake on arrival. Idyllic location with beautiful grounds and surrounding location. Excellent communication from Kathleen. We felt right at home and hope to return soon.

Chris & Collettes apartment was perfect for our couples get away, and so close to everywhere we wanted to visit in Sligo. They also could not have been more prepared, everything ready from their super handy recommendation folder to the instructions on how to use the things in the apartment. Couldn't recommend higher, loved the stay and would visit again. R&F

Idyllic location and accommodations!

This getaway is exactly what we wanted. The cottage was extremely cozy, and was quite charming. With tons of nature around us, no screens, and good company, the stay was incredibly relaxing. We had a great time thumbing through the materials and fun history of the cottage. William was extremely accommodating and was very responsive. We will absolutely be back!

If you're looking forward a nice quiet place to stay. this is the place for you. Location is great, right in the heart of the country. Yet a short distance from the local town. The house is nestled along a lovely quiet boreen. The cottage is really nicely kept, very comfortable and cozy, and full of charm. Everything you need for your stay is provided. It was a great safe space for our dog to run around. This was our second trip back, and won't be our last. Enjoy Xx

Pat has given us the warmest welcome we have ever got at an airbnb. He is just a terrific host. The cottage is lovely, spacious and well-equipped. Great to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. We loved the fire in the dining room and living room and enjoyed playing boardgames with the fire on, on a rainy day. Pat's dog, Lily and the neighbour dog, Hunter are both a delight. Connemara is a beautiful part of Ireland with beautiful scenery and wonderfully warm people. A week is not enough to see everything. We managed to get to the national park, Clifden, Roundstone and its beaches, Lennaun, the Killary fjord and the famine walk, as well as nearby Loch Corrib and the castle. Some of these destinations are about 1 hour away but you drive through beautiful scenery. Galway is only half an hour away and is a buzzing, vibrant city. All in all, we had a great time and would like to come back.

my family and I had a great week at the Coach house, and the house was spacious and very well equipped and clean. the main attractions are outdoors! the lake at the bottom of the driveway! the beach, the private hot tub was amazing and so spacious. the games room was fab! everyone loved it, from the adults to the kids, hours of entertainment 😀 highly recommend 👌

The Sawmill is, without a doubt, the most incredible Airbnb I’ve ever experienced! Every centimeter of it is packed with charm and thoughtful details, making it truly special! Nestled in a tranquil forest with a private lake nearby, it feels like a hidden paradise in the heart of Donegal - the most breathtaking county in Ireland. And the sauna? Absolute perfection - the ultimate way to unwind after a day of hiking, surfing, or exploring the stunning coastline. The host was fantastic, providing clear instructions and ensuring everything was seamless. Can’t recommend this place enough – we loved every second!

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage is in beautiful surrounds and the facilities such as the tennis court, billiards room and swimming pool were a bonus. Marshall gave great food recommendations as well, thanks for a lovely stay!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, The Cottage was bright clean and homely. well equipped with extra throws for the beds if needed. kitchen well equipped everything we needed. spotless bathrooms . Electric heating if needed also a solid fuel stove which when lit makes it very cozy and homely. Having a pool on site was a plus on dull days well heated and clean. The location is perfect for all attractions in West Clare. Beach within 5 mins . lovely views from the cottages,play area for kids and tennis court. We will definitely be coming back.
