Restored 200 Year Old Church

Bookeen Hall is a 200 year old restored church about 20 mins from Galway City and within easy reach of the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and Connemara. We are a short drive from Lignum (restaurant). We offer a private room (with 1 king size bed and 1 single bed) with a private bathroom. For larger groups there is a second room (with 1 king size bed), so we can accommodate up to 5. The nearest train station is 8 miles away in Athenry. We live here with our dogs and look forward to meeting you!

Clifden Farmhouse is in a fantastic location in the peaceful Connemara countryside with unbeatable views of the 12 Bens yet only a 7 min walk to Clifden town center with its wonderful restaurants and bars and easy access to the many stunning beaches. Mary, the host, has been hosting guests in her home for over 20 years but has only recently joined AirBNB and is keen to welcome back guests. Private, ensuite room available, cereals, yoghurts and toast available on request in guest lounge.

Situated in the heart of the Burren which is a karst landscape with cliffs, caves, archaeological sites and vast array of flowers and plants. Close proximity to the Michael Cusack Centre, Burren Perfumery, Poulnabrone Dolmen , Caherconnell and Cahercommaun Forts. Some of the most beautiful walks begin in Carron which are mapped out to hike on your own. My home is next to the Cusack Way walk. The house is a stones throw from the bustling market town of Clifden where you can enjoy fantastic pubs, restaurants, live music, and independent boutiques.

Own car ESSENTIAL (not suitable for cyclists/pedestrians as no public transport nearby. It takes nearly 2 hrs to walk from Doolin or Lahinch) Minimum 2 nights stay. Apologies, no children or dogs. One of 3 rented rooms in our home. Single bunk beds in private room. Shared kitchen, Sitting room and bathroom. 10 minutes drive to Doolin, Lahinch, the Burren National Park and the Cliffs of Moher. Continental breakfast included.

Doonbeg village is only 2km away where you can enjoy local cuisine at the village’s two award winning restaurants. It is a large, bright room with an en-suite. We offer a light self service breakfast including cereals, yoghurts and fruit as well as a variety of teas and coffee. Mini fridge also provided.
