It was a really big apartment, with really a lot of space for the 4 people which we came with. She made us feel very welcome, give a big tour through the house and even gave us a welcome cake. The place is a bit far from downtown, but within a few blocks there are plenty of restaurants, and the center is perfectly reachable by cab.

The host accepted us on such short notice and made us feel welcome. The house itself is very spacious and safe. The location is in a perfect area, close to cafes and shopping centers. There is a lot of space for multiple cars and a fully functioning garage door. The yard is fun and big, although it has greener grass in the photos, it was a good place for the dogs to play and run around. There is a room with a desk for work time, Overall, I would stay here again.

The independent arrival helps a lot, Manu is super attentive to any questions. The A/C in the rooms is very much appreciated. That super comfortable hammock until you want to buy one. For cooking, utensils help a lot and are well cared for. The backyard is very nice and my dog enjoyed it a lot. That cold water in the refrigerator is greatly appreciated. I would stay at your house again, thank you for your attention Manu!

The place was beyond our expectations. Paula was an amazing host and assured that we had everything we needed. Met us on check in day to make sure she answered all questions and provided suggestions for restaurants and things to go. She was beyond helpful. The place felt like a home. All my family and friends loved it. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Merida. Thank you!

The house was beautiful, exactly as described and pictured. Located on a very quiet street. Supermarket and bus stop 1 block away. Bus terminal walking distance. Neil was very responsive and helpful with suggestions when we had questions. We loved that we could walk everywhere from the house and felt safe at all times. We highly recommend staying at the house.

This is my second time staying at Debbie’s beautiful home and this time I stayed for over a month. Casa Dulce is a stunning historic home with modern art, high ceilings, a spectacular arched doorway, gorgeous pool and outdoor area, and entire private separate casita with it’s own bathroom. There is tons of room and you really feel like you are staying in one for Merida’s grand homes with lots of history. The location is perfect—walkable to nearly anywhere you want to be in Merida, including Centro, tons of restaurants, shops, the zoo and parks, grocery stores, and more. Jacky, the house manager, is always available and very helpful, and Debbie, the owner, happened to be staying next door so I had the pleasure of meeting her and visiting with her friends. I am happy to have found such a gem in Merida and will absolutely be back!

Everything is very good, excellent service. Everything is very clear and on time. I would have liked the check-in to be a little earlier, but it's understandable.

I think the most outstanding feature when I compare to other properties in Mérida wAs the layout in terms of privacy for three couples (or small families). It was a very spacious and pretty space and was a lovely place to return to after our adventures, both inside and outside of Mérida You will have to walk a little bit to get to the main action, but we were up for that and wanted to be in a neighborhood. Eduardo and Fabiola were very responsive.

Loved it and will definitely be back. Great location, safe, quiet - yet walkable to everything. They are honestly, the best host I’ve had. The recommendations- ease of access - and I was a pesky guest bc I really did not know anything. It was a last minute trip. I am definitely staying here or any other place that they have. Thanks again. A very productive trip and some great vacation stuff too.

We so enjoyed our stay at Villa Romantica. We were able to have 3 generations of our family (from across USA) join us here. This home is so beautiful. Imagine 90% of your stay is ‘outside’, the living area, dining room, roof top terrace, and Kitchen are all outside. The only time you are inside is to sleep, and yes you can air condition the 3 bedrooms. You will pay for electric but by air conditioning the bed rooms at night our cost for a week was just over $50. Our day to day host contact was Natalie. She kept in constant contact for any need and also volunteered daily activities going on in Mérida. We found the people of Mérida very polite. We rented a vehicle a large suburban and were always able to find parking close in front of ‘Villa Romantica’ (during peak rental season). We drove to the ruins at Chichen Itza, the beach at Progreso, and the grocery stores. Unless you have a large group (we had 8). Driving in the tight streets of Merida El Centro was a bit stressful.

We booked a couple of hours before arriving in Merida. The host contacted us right away. Check-in was very easy, access to the property was immediate, we loved the design, the beds were super comfortable, we were surprised with a welcome kit with drinks and snacks that they left us in the refrigerator. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your food and also has a dishwasher. Leaving through the dining area, the pool is just a few steps away. We had a very relaxing time and with the advantage that there is a supermarket and several restaurants just a few minutes away from the property. We definitely recommend it.

Perfect location. Within 2 blocks was the open air market with restaurants, venders, square, church, pharmacy, grocery, cold treats, vegan coffee shop. Very walkable, flat, good side walks. Friendly people- brush up on Spanish- not a ton of English speakers- but we always were able to work it out!! Home had lovely spaces. Wish we had better outdoor furniture- especially the loungers, the outdoor dining table chairs were getting sun damage/cracking too. We had 2 home Rapi deliveries for dinner, easy walk to the large square on Sunday enjoying music, dancing, food and crafts. Pool was awesome relief from the hot weather. Definitely would stay here again and again.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Casa Corazón. It was the perfect base for exploring Merida. Getting to the city center is a quick 10 minute walk. Marcela and Diego were so helpful with many recommendations. And Casa Corazón itself is a gem. We hope to return again!

Flor is a wonderful host. The place is amazing, I felt safe and at home the whole time. It's in a very good area of downtown and I walked everywhere. I'll definitely stay with Flor again

We had a great stay at Bert and Maxine's lovely casita! Our hosts were warm and friendly and communicated quickly about any issues that popped up and answered questions about local spots to check out while we were there. We enjoyed time in the pool and the environment was very tranquil and welcoming.
