It's a perfectly lovely cottage, as seen in the photos. One big happy room with a comfy bed. We stayed for a weekend, and drove to Philly a couple times (40 minutes?), which was close enough. We also hiked a bit. You can walk right out of the house, right down the road, right into the nearby state park, and right into the adjacent arboretum. Which is altogether pretty cool. Could it possibly be better? Yes, the one drawback is that you're staying in someone's yard. But the house is pretty far back, and we did not meet our hosts, or anything like that. That is to say it felt very private. In short, it was absolutely 100% worth the price.

This is a quirky but cute place. Jack is a very nice guy, who helped whenever we needed something , but gave us our privacy. Decor is eclectic... kitschy (oil paintings) to charming (stonework and barn feel) to cool (60's record album covers). Some features could use some updating, but the bathrooms are all new and lovely . Note that there are winding staircases to both floors and this may not be for everyone. There is a lot to do in the area with Longwood Gardens, museums, and wineries nearby.
