The Lower Garden District/ Magazine Street area is one of New Orleans' oldest and trendiest neighborhoods, with a mix of 100-year-old houses, cool shops, and restaurants. Walk to Magazine Street, the St. Charles streetcar, coffee shops, and the beautiful homes of the Garden District. Close to the French Quarter, but tucked away from the noise. City bus system close by, St Charles Streetcar within walking distance and only $7-$9 by Uber or Lyft into the center of the city. Parking outside right in front of the house. (Of course, on occasion, you may have to park a couple spots away, however it's rarely a problem to park right in front). Your code for the front gate and front door will be sent via the Airbnb app three days before your stay. If you need any help just give us a call.

This is a true "New Orleans house," with hardwood floors, high ceilings, ceiling fans, oversize windows. Located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, the house is just a short walk from the best shopping district on Magazine Street, and from the historic St. Charles Avenue Streetcar line. In this area there are fine restaurants, ranging from po-boy shops to James Beard Award-winning fine dining restaurants. The house is very private, but adjacent to some of the best attractions in the city.
